Day 4, Last day of BOSET.
We had firefighting lessons. Lessons was boring. I fell asleep most of the time. Practical was slightly mroe fun. First we don ourselves funny fireman gear. Huge rubber boots, and huge helmets. First we need to enter a dark room, while we have to mingle our way inside with a team of 5 each. Inside the room is PITCH DARK! u cant see anything. It is as though ur eyes are closed inside. Its kinda like a obstacle course. We need to feel our way n even crawl thru a huge pipe before getting out.
Next we practising putting out a small, very small fire with a CO2 ext. Everyone need to goes thru it. When it was my turn, i used the most amt of gas, pssss........ more fun ma. lol. Then its the dry powder then the foam. Next, we hav to fight a leaking gas fire using the hose. This is the most fun part ba. 5 of us holding the huge heavy hose, we create a water wall with the nozzle and slowly approached the fire. Then we will cover the fire away from the valve and another guy will close it. This time i was the leader shouting the command. I think being the first guy would be most interesting ba. But the leader was jus as fun. :)
Finally we finish the whole course and we received our certs. Time to go home.
Jus before we took our plane ride back, we decided to hav something before taking the plane. First we each had a glass of tiger before entering the departing area. Once there, we were finding for dinner and there are actually no acceptable dinner in sight! Settled for some pasta which was the lousiest one i had beside the one i had in class! Hence, in order to satisfy our dissappointing dinner, wat did we do???
We drink again... lol
Luckily we dun look like drunkens on the plane. Oh, we almost miss the plane. lol were jus 40 mins before flying off... Gate closes 30 mins before flight. :)
BOSET Day 3 Cont

Arnie on top a ledge while i took a photo. Actually i took another one but it was missing. This angle is a bit wrong...

This second one is better after Siang-E help us took this photo.

After some shopping, we dine at this bar. Had some nice platter shared with Siang-E and this huge tower of heni. But sadly its slightly more then two jugs only... N it cost more then two jugs, quite a ripped off. We drank this and another two jugs of Guiness... Man my coll are good drinkers.

Here's a update of my day three and four training at KL. The third day of our training, we did the heli escape theory and practical and CPR training. After a morning of lecture, we got into our coveralls and straight to the pool. This is the pool we were in when we pratise the heli excape. It comes in three stages. First, u get into the heli, when it is half submerged in the water. Then the heli go up. We practise the impact drill. The heli will drop slowly, upon hiting the water, we are suppose to change stance. Meaning instead of holding our head firming, we need to get into "break windows/door" position. Then we practise breakign the window. Which is fairly easy at the surface, i guess. I was lucky as i was at the door. A simple switch, the door drops into the pool. Then while still staped to the seat. The instructor will tell us he will submerged the whole heli into the water and we are suppose to get ourself out of the water. With the windows and door already opened. Sounds easy huh? But i was pretty scared. lol. I kinda freak out initially. Coz when the heli submerged, i tried to open my eyes to see stuffs. But i cant see much, at the same time, i let loose my grip to the door. As the heli was flipping, i suddenly got a bit "gan chiong" and was panicking looking for the door frame. The bloody door was so huge, that i couldnt find it. After almost 5sec, which seems like 30sec in the water, upside down. I got hold of the frame n wanted to pull myself out of the seat. Then i realised my seatbelt was still one... der... Making me even more "Gan Chiong"... The seat belt was the airplane type. very easy to open. But i was so blur... that i was trying to open it on the other side... *stupid sia* then took my another 5sec or so to wake up my idea n open the belt and pull myself out of the heli n resurfaces... Man... kinda scary sia....
Next we did CPR and Choking ex. There is some changes to the standards of the CPR. Instead of the "one n two n three n four n five..." we have to do it very fast. 100 compression/min. so it will go like 1,2,3,4,5..... then two smelly breaths to the victims to wake them up. Didnt do the practical as i feel its pretty stupid. The instructor didnt emphasise locking of the elbows when doing the compression. I rem that if we do not lock the elbows, we rick breaking the ribs of the victims, coz the compression strength will not be controlled. Anyway, i doubt i will use it as i really scared to breaks the ribs of the victims. Unless... i really really really need to do it...
Next we had this choking practise. First time seeing this "guy". I find it quite funny to use it. As u can see on the next photo...

Day 2 KL
After tat we walked around the area. Went to the Pavilion. And we were wowed from the design of the shopping mall. Its huge n its classy. Super high ceilings gives it the cool factor. In the end we settled at some outdoor bar where we had a jug or tiger. Notice people were smoking the water smoke around and the smell is pretty sweet! Luckily we got some fan behind us to blow the smoke away. :) It is pretty nice to catch up with my cousin. Talking out our working difficulties to each other, i find that we get more closer together.
Breakfast was alright. American Breakfast without bacon n hams. But they hav Nasi Lemak , so i ate again. Its still my fav food though. The rice was fragrant but the chicken was rockj hard... Oh i didnt memtioned i was almost late, if not for a call from my collegue, Arnie, if not i will be still dozing away. lol. Training in the morning was boring, but luckily we had fun in the pool in the afternoon. We swam with lifejacs, form formations and did a 3m jump. 3m dun look high but it was pretty scary. Had a good look of the height before jumping down n it was real high. After following the instructions by the instructor, i walked my self out to the pool. Something about the jump. Though i managed to put my scared self away, as i jumped, i was looking out. All seems fine until jus before i hit the water, i can feel my heart dropping and i had to close my eyes, and for a split second, i felt like i was in a bottomless pit. Then the next thing i know, i dived into the water. After that i kinda like it and wanted to take a second plung but as i looked up the instructor also jumped into the water after the last two went in. Guessed no second time then... :(
More updates tml hopefully i will be sober after a hard rock session with my collegues tml night!
KL trip. Boset course.

This is the other side. I guessed its pretty standard for such a setting ba.
This is the washroom. I think my hand shake a bit when i was snapping.
Here is the bathtub. Its a huge one, i jus tried it. :)
Here is the night sight from my room. I can see the Petronas tower and the KL towers! Woot!
Here is my other two collegue who was with me for the training. They dissappointed that they did not get the twin tower view. Maybe i will try to ask from the front desk tml.
And here is me. :)
Anyway, it is also the first time i travelled and stayed in a hotel room on my own. Kinda scary. lol. Was thinking if there will be msgs written on the bathroom walls when i was showering or if there will be blood coming out from the shower head. All thanks to josh blog for showing the bloddy shower video. Then some more there is FInal Destination on TV... Not really a very good show to watch, since it is actually the 'seven month' now... OMG...
Guess i better hit the bed fast. Gonna wake up at 6am tml.
