@_@ "bak chang" making

yes, thats how i look now. After 3 glue some hrs of bak chang making, and 1 hr of being maid to the house. But surely there are answers to why such thing happen. :) For all these, i get to bring 15 delicious bak chang back to eat. Yeah!

So i was at josh house today making "b.c". Started around 4.30, i start to wrap first b.c for the wear. Remembering last year i actually came to make too. And i am sure i am jus as tired after it. I wonder... Why did i come today? :p

We wrapped around 50 b.c ba. The first batch of them were salty. Too salty in fact. For someone who always eat salty stuff, i think it really pretty salty. But it does taste good loh. Luckily we didn't test the one with gralic... If not i wouldn't be liking it. Josh loves to have one solid gralic in his b.c. Whereas, i love the b.c with lots "bak" lol.

My "red' day! Part one.

Well, by popular demand (though only from one guy. lol) i am to post the "happenings" on my birthday celebrations. Actually, there are so many of them! Thanks all my friends for celebrating this special day of mine with me. *hearts* And to those who simply were too busy (real busy or fake busy, jus touch ur heart la. lol) but sent smses to wish me. Also not forgeting those who simply didnt know wat day it is (Well, u dun know my birthday, but u r still me friend. :) Coz i might not know urs too! lol) Jus wanna say thanks you for jus being my friend.

On thte actual day itself, i actually recieve my biggest present. Yes. Its my new "kar ta" (as in hokkien, "leg step" or as in english my transport from the company) Its a RED (note #1 "red", more to come.) Citreon Berlingo Van. Actually should meet at 10am but i woke up late. This despite my friend, josh for giving me a wake up call, i still fell asleep. Maybe too much DOTA the last night. lol. Woke up around 9.30 n i am already running late. Reached only around 11 where the lady agent was about to go. short tour aroudn the vehicle, n the van is all mine to drive away. It started to drizzle a bit n the lady says its a good sign n should buy 4D. But... till now already donated more then 100 bucks to the swimming "pool". haiz... So many times i came so close to the prize. 7304, 4470, 7311, 5537, 7044, haiz.. simply no luck... Oh for ur info the number is 3744 n i bought all 12 permunation...

Enough about the car, went to PS to cele my birthday with josh. We had a small movie marathon. Watching shrek 3 n pirates one after another. My conclusion of the movie, neither of them were great. Shrek being jus funny, which it is suppose to be. The story is not really nice anymore. I like the "dradonkey" they are so cute n ardorable. :) other then that, its not really that nice. Pirates, i find is pretty good graphics, considering the graphics of the ships, the whirlpool, the fighting. Surprisingly, i find it pretty amusing. There are some real cold jokes, which made the whole crowd laugh. funny...

After watching the show n picking up the phone, We went to katong for brazillion buffet. lol Ate till we wanted top puke. Really two greedy men. In the end have to walk around cold storage to help digest. (BTW, walking supermarket is also josh's past time. lol.) About the buffet, It one that serves desserts. The like time on, there was no surcharge.... <---- er please ignore the previous sentence. coz i also dun know wat i am typing. lol. The buffet was pretty good. They marinate the meat n stuffs before serving. So they tends to have some taste, as compared to the one at vivo. Vivo one is more saltish. Think they use salt to preserve the natural flavours of the meat. But Vivo one serves more dishes. Maybe its a weekend. This one that io go, barely have any one when we first step-in. On a tuesday, there wasnt any crowd. Think they only have 10 bbq dishes. as compare to the one at vivo where there is chicken heart, more types of beef. n beef ribs. Service is not so bad except that they dun serve ice water. Have to pay for 6 bucks to get a bottle of avian...

Well, as wat DH commented, i shall list down some stuffs. lol

1) New handphone (V3 red or a nokia one that got bluetooth with red G-mask can liao) lol.
2) Bluetooth kit sold at carrefour (the one where the bluetooth kit built into the rear screen.) lol lol
3) Lappy (currently Asus A8 looks good. With red G-mask will be better!!!) lol lol lol
4) er... still need more???

Or seriously, some of the stuffs that i have been longing to buy. But i jus cant set my heart to pay for them. Coz it not that i need them, its jus tat.... they r red n i would like to have one... lol

2) Red glasses
3) Red alarm clock. (Mine old fails to wake me up once... went bonkers liao)
4) Red top where i can wear for gym. (Must be sleeveless)
5) do i have to type red again??? u all should know that it should be, will be, MUST be RED.... lol

Getting sleepy le. Any way, i wouldnt mind if i didnt get anything from this list. I would most appreciate a gift that comes from the heart. Even though if it is not something that i like, if its given by a "you xin ren" then i would gladly recieve it. Er.. bluntly saying... *Better dun go n buy those F@@King photo frames or ornaments for me!!! lol*

Ten days to "the day"

Ever feels down tat "the day" is closing???
I think its gonna be my first... Seems tat every1 should look forward to it, but its jus not the same this year. Some might be looking thru this web n hopefully to find ideas to prepare them for "the day"... I m so sorry to post something like tat in my previous blog. Well... blogs are spaces to throw ur tots right???

Ha, enough bout those. So something 'normal' to blog about.

Err... I woke up at 7 today, go to the shower n left the house to the office. Reach the office at 8am. Had some briefing with my staffs bout the new system in place. Work work work... Then shot here n there, finish work dirty, or rather work will nvr finish for me. Till now, shower n blogging.

K, More normal stuffs. Should be getting my citeron berlingo van next week latest. Provided my sis sign the cheque. So i should need quite a bit of car accessories. lol. #1 in the list should be the aromatherapy stuff for the car. U know, the spinning water that gives out nice smell. A lavander smell will be good, though its not the one i like. lol. I think i sounds contridicting. nvm. #2 would be....the handphone clip that holds my hp. Pls bear in mind that my N95 is pretty big. lol. #3 i actually wouldnt mind a Nokia E65. lol coz if u have been reading my blog, i have 'lost' my working phone, 6021. A E65 is good coz the batt is the smae size as my N95 so i can actually interchange the batt if necessary like i do to my N80 n 6021. #4 I would love to have a new keypad too. MUST be red though. lol. *there is actually no red keypad in the market* to fit my red monitor n red mouse. lol. Enough of not practical stuffs, i think i should list a list of NOs...
Nos... #1 in the list is, clothes.... I have nvr had a proper size for that. Now that my wardrobe is full of cannot wear but still wanna keep clothes coz i didnt worn it out clothes. lol From before BMT to after Sispec to ORd to now, i think i at least change size 3 times. lol. Oh i forgot to say that i wouldnt mind a red desk alarm clock. Coz mine a bit sock sock liao. lol. Though still can use. lol.

Well... all in all, i wouldnt mind if things are RED. I m looking forward to a RED day. :)

i bet many of us ever tot of such a phrase. Yes... We need breaks here and there. This time i want mine too. Have not been using my head much. I think this time i should jus drop it. Lol.
I wonder if anyone had mad tots like wat i have been thinking for quite a while. "wouldn't the world be better if someone like me is not around?" please do not start calling me and ask me if i am well. This is not the first time tat i tot of this. I am sure there are people who tot of it too. Its jus one of those angry tot tat flash into your head when you are very very angry... I tot of the outcome too. Lol. Its not worth la. Jus sad loh... So the ultimate solution is jus a problem to much more. Lol. Maybe its not so good a solution.

Turn out to be my very first time to Kusu Island.
Quite a nice n peacful place. nice temples n nice views.

 

A very steap slope up to the highest point of kusu where there is a muslim temple.
Almost wanna faint while going up.

Possible license suspension...

Well...

It not my day yesterday. Was on my way back to office n got caught by TP for using the phone on the road... Tried so much to plead the TP for leniency, but the TP was firm. Keep on tell me that he already very lenient liao. If not i could be charged in court n fine $1000 and jailed for 6 mths...

So now i m waiting for the results to come. Its a 12 demerit pts fine. On top of wat i already have... Its 24 pts le. According to the TP webby, i will be suspended for driving for 6mths. If i go for a retraining, can reduce to 4 weeks...

Sigh... Such bad things happen at this point of time... Some more my Bdae near, think will not have chance to drive around anymore.

My friends should rejoice hearing this.
Coz i pledge to drive within the speed limit from now onwards, (+10 km/h max).
No more funny things like illegal U-turn, parking or hp on the road. Will make sure i have my head phones on when ever i drive.

The TP did mentioned that i still can drive after getting 24 pts. Says tat i can't get another pts le. But this will still with my for another 24mths...

I really hope its true, (though the webby proofs otherwise.) Maybe that TP trying to trick me into signing the papers...

Bowling Craze...

Yes I am in a bowling craze. Fancy playing 14 games a day. Play until thumb blister also can play… lol. Yes I am that crazy.

Dun know if I have blog it before, but I just got myself a bowling ball. The ball is, of course, red. Fiery red. With blends of orange, looking like a flame. Mmm I think I have written this somewhere….

Ok. So its mother’s day today, Or rather yesterday since it’s already 0130am. We went to York hotel for lunch. They serving international buffet. I started with the salad bar. Dun know y, but I just feel that I had to have something light before going for the main course. Once I was there, the salad looks so nice! The particular one that caught my eye was the chicken in mayo with mango. (Meat meat meat!) I jus find that they go well with the salad. Together with the lettuce and bacon bits, smashed hard boiled eggs, parmesan cheese and bread croutons. N before I walked back, I already had a big plate of salad. 

The salad was jus the start of the buffet n I think I already stuff 30% of my tummy. Next is some roast beef serve by the chef just behind our table. I think most people might have miss it coz the label was small n not much people can understand y there is one chef standing behind the tall counter. (P.s. The roast beef is hidden below the counter.) Well, the roast beef was just normal. The second time that I took it, it’s pretty raw. I think its medium rare ba. Still can see traces of blood. Soups next, n I had both the cream of salmon n asparagus and the chicken in ginseng soup. Both taste good and have a big portion of meat inside.

Finally it’s the main course time. N I am already 50% full. There are approximate 12 dishes which all taste alright. Not that fantastic though. But I feel the price, which is 20 odd per person, is pretty cheap for this kind of food they prepared. Oh did I mention there was a choco fountain too! The choco taste good. And the banana n marshmallow taste just nice together. Zzz… Stoning in front of the pc now. Lol..

Well basically we had a super heavy meal before we adjourned to the building next door which is Far East Plaza. We had a walk around the basement. My two sisters were walking together n busy buying cloths. My mum, my auntie, my cousin n I were walking aimlessly in the premise coz the items sold were too young for the two aunties, to old for my cousin n totally a wrong sexual direction to me. Until my mum stumbled upon a jewelry shop. They sell some nice earrings n my mum happens to like one of them. My auntie also like another one of them. So as they wanted to I walked up n offered to buy for them loh, as a present for both of them. 

Last we went to the Neo Print shop. Remember the last time we went to the Goodwood Park Hotel for brunch, we went here to take Neoprints too.  Sweet memories. This time we also have much fun taking the photos. Seven of us swapping positions in the machine, trying hard to put all our faces inside. This really sweats me out. By the time we finish posing and putting in the cute pictures in the photos, its already 4 plus. My mum also left in a hurry coz she had calligraphy lessons to attend.

This is when I left my family to meet xiaomei n her mum n her auntie n big bear to bowling at marina south. After I got the personnel ball, my scores had dropped drastically. For a frequent 140 scores to 40 – 90 scores…. That really sianz. Played for 4 games n they are hungry for dinner le. I didn’t join them coz of my heavy buffet lunch n I will turn super fat if I eat the steamboat, BBQ buffet for dinner. This is when I carried on playing another 5 games to train myself. Which I did not fair well. Barely closing to 100 scores. Gave up for the day n played some games before I leave the place.

Then is when I played another 5 more in Taman Jurong. Lol. Brought josh to Taman Jur Mac where he wanted to study. N I played another 5 games. This time round I managed to get the hang of it, though still not that consistent, but I can see that if the angle is right I should able to score.

Zzzz… Stone second time…. Time 0210hrs.

Now my hand is swollen n big loh

New bowling ball~

Well, like wat the title says, i bought a bowling ball on wed.

It was crazy i should say. Coz although i really like bowling, n thought of getting one, i always find tat its kinda extravagant to buy one. But then on this night, with two fellow bears pulling me into the shapping wagon, i complied to their request n got myself a fiery red ball. :)

For the first time, i will be playing finger tipped bowling. Will some proper but super short advises from the pro shop guy. His name is kenneth n his shop is Ken Pro Shop at marina south, Victor's bowl. Know kenneth from my friend john. According to john, kenneth's skill in drilling is very good. His shop is more like catering to the professional level, coz he dun have much balls for amteurs like me. lol. So we ordered three balls one shot. I wanted to hessitate a bit to get a better offer, but he seems firm on his offer n almost wanted to keep the ball that i wanted. T_T.

Being the only lady around, xiaomei got her ball first. Her design was exactly the same as mine since there is only a design for red. Drilling only took 30mins, that is including the measurements he took n the other misc stuffs. He conduct a crash course for xiaomei too. Where i also eagerly listen. Seems easy while listening to him teaching xiaomei. Little did i know that its SUPER difficult to do it actually!!!
Xiaomei got her ball and she start to play. We had to wait a while longer coz he have another two more customer which he attend to before drilling ours. So over at the bowling lanes, xiaomei was playing. We could teach her much since we also dun know the proper ways. Luckily kenneth assistant came over and gave us some pointers. Taught us the four n five step walk thru, and also how to hook the ball.

Finally its my turn to drill the ball. Kenneth used funny equipments to measure my fingers. N only to realised that my ring finger is not tat flexible. It cannot bend on the very first joint. Maybe its coz i had a deep cut when i was young. I rem that i was holding the lava lamp out of curiosity. not to realise that its actually a two part item. I did not put the lamp in position after i was kinda shock about it. n it dropped to the floor n i cut myself while trying to salvage it. The cut was deep coz the blood was like flowing out, machiam like running tap. Raised it up n held it with my hands n towel. After jus a few seconds the towel was all bloody red. It took my almost 3-4 mins before the blood stop. Maybe not much blood left then. lol. Realised kenneth took long time to measure my fingers. My thumb actually got a very big bone, less meat. So he actually make the thumb hole slightly oval to accomodate the thumb in the correct form. Nice~ In a jiffy, the holes are drilled n the ball is ready to roll!!!

Tried my first few strokes of hooking. Then i realised its not so easy!!! N the "longkang" have been throughly cleaned by my ball. Some more the end of the "longkang" have a raised-up. So if my ball roll down, it will hit the raised-up n get a bad knock. After more n more knocks, my heart hurts whenever it hits it... And after one game, i was totally sianz... coz i didn't produce the spin i wanted n i talked as though it easy. Sigh.... so ashamed of myself... Well, after three games, i think i m only satisfied in only 5 of my throws. Now very gian to play again. lol

Well, i find that i kinda lost touch to my bangkok trip blogging liao. Still got three days to blog, but i think my memories already being replaced by other stuffs soon. lol. Cannot post now coz i not able to upload the photos to my office lappy. Its a 4yr lod lappy with the hinge already spoilt. So i have a box of A4 papers behind my lappy to support the screen. Think by the time we move house, there should be new comp purchase. :)

BKK day 1~

Ok i shall start my blog about BKK. Hopefully i will be able to cover much of the trip. Will try to put in as much photos as possible not to make the blog to boring. lol.

Ok i shall start from the airport... Its been quite a while a travelled. I rem the last time was to ex wallaby where we went to aust as my first reservist training. lol. This time i can fully enjoy the services in the airport. we took a few photos there. Using my N95 of course! Though most of the pics are taken from DH's 7mb camera.

The plane ride was smooth mostly because we took a SIA flight. Come to think of it, we were pretty rush in this trip. lol. We actually booked our tickets on tues night n flown on sat morning. It jus happen that we both wanted to leave this place for a break n we really had our dream come ture. :) So we booked the SQ flight partly because ther available flights were either lousy timing, or the price were not that worth. :) Service on the plane was decent. The meals were good too. Seats were not really that big. Which makes me wonder wat will happen if i took the jetstar or air asia. Wouldnt it be even more uncomfortable?

Well touch down n i was feeling so excited!!! took my first photo at the airport which is this.


Well, i feel that its makes me feel that i m in thailand. lol

Subsequent photos were not really that great as DH told me that photos were not allowed. So i secretly took them. lol

overly priced sweets...

Sorry bout those bkk updates. But i jus need to blog this....

Well.. Went to meet a friend, DH, for dinner. We ate steamboat at "Ting yuan" steamboat along liang seah street. I really like the steamboats there. They make the soup so nice n best of all they have lotsa stuffs for u to make the sauce. Josh made one for me super sauce for me n i feel tat a simple boiled meat tasted so much better with the sauce. :)

Well.. wat i really wanna blog about is wat happen after all these..

We were so full so we decided to walk around bugis to help digest. After walking for a while in bugis, DH wanted to pee. lol. So i directed him to the toilet downstairs since we were near hang ten. (Actually i wanna go see see look look the arcade one. lol) But, little did i realise a disaster was soon to unfold....

Being typical non-gamers, josh n DH were pretty out of place when they are in the arcade. Untill the went to the "ladies" sections. lol. They are those prize oriented games. u get a prize for playing. Like the UFO catcher of the last time. Now it hav evolved to lotsa other types of game. Like catching HUGE pooh bears tat are simply to heavy for the grabing arms. Or some electronic games where u press the button at the appropriate time n u will hit higher n higher to get the ultimate prize which can be a psp or a nokia phone. It seems easy but i find them quite a cheater. They simply makes its impossible to get the prize. I feel the computer is prgrammed to give away the prize after about a certain number or use. E.g. maybe there must be at least 20000 clicks then they will increase the chance to get the prize. So u must be the very very lucky one to be there at tat time. lol.

So back to the arcade, there was this machine that u have a scoop that when u press the button, the scoop will go down n scoop up some sweets. u bring the sweets up n dwon it at ur "pusher". With sufficient sweets, the pusher will push some sweets of the ledge n drop into a hole where u can pick them up. The objective is to drop the sweets on a switch that will start the jackpot. If u hit the jackpot u will get the prize. Like the cushion or soft toy. Sigh... To cut the story short, the two of them actually spent a total of 60 bucks to get the prize... 60 BUCKS!!!!

Just look at them playing the game...



The prize in my arm. hehehe I was at the best of mood tat time. Was pretty mad they actually spent so much on it...



Turns out that the cushion got vibration function one.

That sums up the day down there. I think i m not going to bring those two down to acrade to play those games anymore!!! *but play will still pull them down if i wanna play those fighting games. lol*

Me n my N95~

 

This was actually the very first blog i wanna put in when i got the phone. But since then, i was busy posting other blogs. think i might as well post it here since i sorting out my pictures. :)

BKK~ The trip finally!!!

Have not been at the best of moods these days. Due to lotsa reasons ba.... Beside the work that i have been doing. Seriously, i am beginning to feel that a, 24hrs, seven days a week, job is something that no one is able to do perform sanely. No to think that i have not been taking any leave for almost 4 years le... Off was like a so call "rest" at home issue but still have to attend to calls. Study also have to work. Tests too.... I can rem that my maths test. With three phones on the table in silent mode. All vibrating at the same time. lol. Even the maths lecturer also cannot tahan... Luckily exams time i divert my calls to my sisters. The maths lec still walk over n tell me, "No give chance for u to answer phone calls le hor!"

OK so the day is fixed! 28th Apr 2007 to 1st May 2007 will be my first ever own trip with my pal. Mr Ee. Come to think of it. There's lots of 1sts to this trip. 1. First time travelling to BKK. 2. First time after 4 over years i can really say bye bye handphone (91068838) for four whole days n nvr wake up in the middle of the night worrying that the phone got switch to silent of not. Or if the hp is beside me or not... 3. First time travelling alone. Or rather with another friend only. Err... not really travel la. Consider i got travel to Genting with friendS b4. This should be first time taking a plane ride with a friend. Err... then again i got travel to langkawi before, by plane.... lol So not so first after all.... :D

Well, many would ask why the sudden trip?

I think its more like because i feel i have not be in the best state of mind these days. Not to say that there are jobs that i screwed up, though i did cause some delays here n there for not processing the orders effectively, but more like i have not been making firm n right decisions. In my job, i have to decide which is the best way to fully utilise the small fleet of boats in my hands. If the schedule is not planned effectively, the company will not make as much $$$. There is also a few blunders that i made that cause the customers to be really unhappy. Sigh....

Studies is also a big headache for me. I will be taking my last semester of my specialist dip n i have not made a decision to continue my studies where... Lotsa advice have been given by the most senior guy that i could think of in advicing. Mr foong kor. ;) Foong kor is my classmate in my spec dip course. With his exp in the sea n trade. He has given me lotsa valuable advices for me. Currently thinking of getting a company to sponsor my degree studies. Thinking JSL or Sembawang. Or maybe will go out n find some other company like Keppel. Think its quite worth it. I dun need to pay for the course, then sign a 1 - 2 year bond. Which is the amt of time tat i wanna spent in the industry to see if i can mature to assist my own company or not. Think i will try to go into the ship design side. Hopefully i can tap something out of there n eventually build my own boat. lol.

Well.... at least that will be my short term goal now. (3 years). A new long term goal will have to be set, since i have changed my preceptions of things. Hopefully it will be good n benefitial to my carreer.

N95, after almost three weeks of use...

Well, since a friend of mine posted a review of the N95, which i feels is obviously siding another HP maker... (p.s. he is a K800i user n he doesn't own a N95. lol)
So, being a user for almost three weeks now, i shall post something "real" bout this phone... *muhahaha

N95, this is wat computers have become, is truely a computer in itself. From the basic uses of a phone like calling, sms. To the camera functions of photo taking and video taking. From the Pda functions like organisers to the Computer functions like web browsing and words, excel, powerpoint viewing. Its really a powerful machine packed into one small box. Not to miss out the GPS system in the phone!

Boxy it may seems. But its is nvr heavy. Nokia have made the N95 much lighter then the N80 and at the same time making it pretty plasticy. Now it looks like a "Ma Sa" lol. Screen is fantastic! U are talking about a 16million colour screen, that is clear n bright n BIG!!! In fact it is 2.5" wide... Its bigger then some digital cameras! Though its already great with its 5 megapixels AUTOFOCUS camera. Its the video that stands out. I assume no one like to take video from their hp cameras. Be it a Nokia phone or a sonyericssons or a motorola. Video taking from phones are always lousy. Enter the NOKIA N95!!! *confetti thrown in* Video taking is going to rock the world. TV quality video can be taken from the N95. We are not talking bout those pixelated video anymore. Set it to the highest setting, it is as good as watching High Def video on ur screen.

Beside the marvelous camera ability, i also mentioned the GPS. Initial setup was easy. Almost too easy, making me think that i might have set it up wrongly. Coz i was not able to get the signal that very first night i got the phone. After reading the manual, i realise the keypads have to be exposed to get a better signal. And that night i got my first navigated route by my phone. There is two maps program. One have details like atms, hawker, etc. another have the voice nav trial. Tried the voice map. Its pretty effective, considering they will draw a coloured line to show u where is the shortest route or fastest route, depending on wat u set. But... the voice navigations was to slow le... It actually will anounce the turn jus about 5secs before the turn. So imagine if u r not expecting the turn, and is on the 1st lane. U will have to swirl to make the turn. Which can be very dangerous. This is wat happen to me... Ametuers pls dun rely on that. lol. Other then that, its program is pretty clear n well coloured. Using it as a street directory is pretty good too. :)

Web browsing is a breeze! If there is a wifi accessible, most prob u wont get any trouble using it. I tried it at burger king, using Qmax free access, tried at my home. Even in BKK! Even though they are WEP protected, i managed to get the passkey n access. I also got a voip program that nokia recommend. N i am able to make calls to msn users thru the phone! Using wifi. Same goes to skype users too. Yipee!!! Managed to save myself a bit using the wifi to make calls in BKK. Web browsing is also cool, all thanks to the 2.5' clear, bright screen. :)

That about the few items i used most of the time. Did not use the words, excels program yet. Neither have i used the organisers much. But i find that buying this phone, n using these three function is already worth the $$$. Oh, i didnt mention the bad stuffs. Battery power have been weak. Real weak.... Using the wifi n cam n GPS, within a day the phone will be totally exhausted.. I think that the real bad thing about it. Thats y i have my charger n car charger with me at all times. :)

Well, as i have said before. This is really a worth while buy for me, (Might not be for others) using the cam, GPS, web. *my last singtel bill for web access is 100bucks... lol.* To have invested total of 1028-100-400=528 I think its pretty ok for such a power phone ba. ;P

Food At Cafe-Delmar@ Sentosa

 

Food we had at the cafe. Looks good right??? But oh no u are wrong... Looks can be deciving...

 

This is wat i had. Its a Paella with chicken. My pass experience eating paella was good. ( i had mine at Ma masion @ bugis. <--- Thier seafood paella was great! N huge too! Two can share this dish. Bear in mind though, they aren't cheap. lol) So i didnt expect how one can be bad. But i was wrong... They have stone hard crystal rice, (better know as "zhen zhu mi") n lousy taste. N the rice was charred at the side. There is jus chicken pieces and green pepper, jus like wat is written in the menu. So i wasnt hoping for more ingredient. But they are jus lousy...

 

The bdae boy have this, which i think should be the best out of them all. Its duck leg on mashed potato n a tiny piece of duck "foie gras" Didnt taste it, but i could feel that its gonna be much better then mine. Jus a simple braised duck with mash potato is gonna be better then that. But without any complains for the bdae boy, i assume its good. :)

 

This is wat another friend of mine took. Well its jus pasta. I dun think it would be super nice nor super lousy. Lets jus stick to normal pasta ba. Though paying 22 one seems exp. lol


The dish that the rest choosed was this chicken with rice. Same rice that was served to me, with different taste. N they taste better. Didnt try the chicken so couldnt really comment.


Last was some sausages that was cut up n i think tune or some sort of sutff was stuffed inside. Just one word. LOUSY.... Couldnt comment anymore.

Conclusion. If not for the slightly better then sitting on the sand place. Cafe delmar is not tat bad. Jus dun spend too much on the food n drinks. Though they cost a bomb. (Nowadays where u can find nice places that charges good food? <--- Hawker centres??? minus the "nice place" jus the good food will do.)

p.s. dun try the bed there. Those cotton bedsheet are expossed to sun n rain. N there are lotsa stains around. Who know wat kind of stains u could be lying on... lol (my friend did mentioned bringing a UV lamp to check. Maybe u will find some white stains there..... lol)

Oh by the way. Its not that i wanna condem the place. (Which i already did. :P) The aboce statements are jus my point of view. U could jolly will go n experience it urself. :)
