Guiter Hero Craze!!!

Yes i jus made a crazy purchase...

The GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR COMPLETED BAND KIT!!!

Sigh... I still feel its a crazy buy. Judging from the time i spend on my Wii, i dun think it is a worthwhile investment. But after seeing people enjoying it in the arcade, I really feel i wanna own it.

So jus now, while shopping at Carrefour with Josh n Sean, I crazily made the payment.

Now i am feeling the pain of the $300 spent...

Worst still, I cant play it!!!

First my family was watching the Korean drama when i got home. It a new show, the Korean chef show, couldnt bother to find out the name... Its quite interesting though. I was drooling at the nice food they were preparing while i setup my drums and guitar.

After thinking that it will take them almost till 1am earilest to finish the show, i when to shit and shower. Oh, i kinda endure the shit all the way from Suntec to after I setup the drums and guitar as i was very excited. :P

After shiting n showering, the TV was miraculously off and everyone asleep! I quickly setup the drums infront of the TV. Have to plug my headphones to the HIFI coz dun wanna disturb the others. Stupid headsets some more so short! So I have to sit right in front of the TV to play the drums. Sianz, but nothing can stop me to enjoy my $300 bucks of entertainment.... Except my mum... After Jamming for not more then 2mins. I heard my mum calling behind me. Duhz... Coz the drums hitting the pad sound is noisy and disturbing. Even with my blanket over it also noisy... T_T

No choice, my desire to play is to high hence i switch to the guitar. Thinking that the guitar should be softer. Test test. Indeed! Lesser then XXX decibel sound shouldnt be the problem. Set the game to quick play. Choose my fav songs, like Micheal Jackson's "Beat It" and of course, Eagles's "Hotel California".

2 mins testing, take out headphones, see see look look. The coast is clear. :) Nobodies complaining! GREAT! Carry on playing. 4mins passed, song almost finishing. Take out headphone, Opps... Mum behind me again... Damn... No need her to say anything le... Switch off machine, sob on my bed...

Tml got to return home early to play the game!!! Now, maybe go sleep. Maybe... DOTA?!? :P

Oh, almost forgot, THe game n the pics!!!

Genting Feb 2009

Went up to Genting with my friend over the weekend.

It was my first time driving to Genting. And little did i know that the slopes were that steep!!! Well, its my friend XX times to Genting liao, so he is the "Lao Jiao" to the place. (Although he still "hollanded" when we get down... No thanks to my with the outdated map)

Anyway, i feel its a great trip on the whole. Even though i lost Bloody RM 800 to the casino, but i feel its the company that make a lot of difference!

After two nights stay in Genting, we left for Malacca for a night stay before turning back. The hotel at Malacca, called ALDY hotel, was in a very good location. Even though the its not a 5-star hotel, the rooms are relatively big and comfy. There are other big hotels around but its further away to the night market, Jonker Street.

After reaching there we managed to grab lunch at one of the famous chicken rice ball stall. Supposely, if u are late, they will be closed. lol. Apparently we are lucky. Damn... I rather lucky at Genting sia!

After tat we went to a nearby Shopping Mall for a walk before ending at Carrefour for some snacks and tidbits. Further in the night we experienced a more rowdy Jonker street where the old folks will gather and sing Karaoke?!? lol There were some very nice singers too!

Jonker street at late night turns out to be a big Basar Malam place. But the stuffs are pretty much the same, From clothes to bags, to ornaments to souvenirs, to food and even more food. :) One thing tat surprised me was the jap food stall. It is jus like any other push cart stalls but serves salmon sashimi, soft shell crab tempura. Some how or rather, they still look rather fresh and slean despite the lousy condition on the streets.

After the walk, we went back to our room where we drank n ate n gambled. lol Yes, we didnt have enough in Genting. Esp me! But in the end, still lose some more...

The next day we walked to the KTV in the mega mall. To our surprised, the three hours session with lunch and drink only cost us 10RM each!!! DIRT CHEAP SIA!?! Maybe next time should go JB to KTV liao. lol

Below are some of the pics we took!

First World Hotel. The hotel we all stayed in. :P

I am supposed to point the hotel name... Stupid photographer.

Check out the fog behind us!

The Hotel in Malacca that we stayed in. The roof top got BBQ on thurs!

This is the famous chicken rice stall i was talking about. But the chicken dun look very nice hor? SOme more the taste is not that fantastic too. Jus that the "balls" are nice i guess.

Check out the "BALLS" Still think the West Coast chicken rice win hands down. Some more got nice herbal soup one. lol

Stop over along Jonker Road to try this uncle "Popiah" Not that fantastic too. But the fried ones looks good in the photo hor!?! :P

The Famous dessert stall along Jonker Road.

Apparantly they all sells nice ice kachang and chendol. Love the sweet Chendols.

I read thru the article and found out that actually the stall is famous for its nice, museum-like cafe. Which is interesting to some. Including me. But where is the best Chendol?!?

Night view is nice too.

That kinda ends up Malacca. Nothing special and nothing much. Tot i would see some nice Nonya Stuffs. Maybe i didnt go to the right places...

Dumpling soup from JB Market.

Wild Boar meat stir fried with Spring onions and ginger. The meat is succulent and very tender!

Claypot Tauhu which is pretty much simple, and not very tasty.

Fried fish which is pretty nice despite the simple sauce.

Finally we had the Crabby roe Crabs. A bit on the salty side for me. Pity the auntie gave us the crabs with lotsa roe. But we all didnt eat much. lol High cholesterol!

Surely, the trip would be pretty boring without the ever-funny me with the ever funny looks. lol

Difficult leh...

Sigh…

After posting from the email, the blog post become a whole lot of HTML languages which makes it impossible to read from a mobile device…

But at least I dun need to load the webpage to blog.

Still, if I want to put photos it is still not easy.

Seems like I got to wait till an application come out for iPod/iPhone ba.

HOW COME THEY CAN HAVE A APP LIKE LIVEJOURNAL?!?

Seems that it doesn't work...

Damn, the photos will be right at the top as I post.

Even though I tried to paste the photo in the msg… Sianz…

Lets try another one.

Seafood platter a Olive tree Vivo City.

Definitely a close competitor for Fish n Co, but sadly their food didn’t even come close…

Supposedly a much healthier choice over Fish n Co since they use Olive oil throughout.

But at the same time taste is compromised.

They taste much flatter and pretty much tastless.

For a people like me who eats a like salty food, they are really bland…

Christmas Turkey Josh roast for my family.

Nice hor! Think he can start selling them!

Took him approximately 5hrs to roast it, not including the marinating.

So he should be able to roast 2 a day. :P

Provided the first one is in the afternoon and the other in the evening. lol

Trial - Blog from Email.

Jus found out that it is possible to blog from email, so I have to try it out.

Initially I was blogging from my lappy until I got my iPod and started using Shozu to post blog.

But the thing is if I want to post pictures, I can only post pictures from my iPod (Which is acceptable) and can only post one pic with comments at a time. Turn out I have to post a lot of time, machiam I wanna increase my postings.

So hopefully this will work and I can start posting from email and hopefully the pics work.

For a start I shall try to post these photos. :P

<<...>>

Tajimaya @ Vivo City.

<<...>>

Set dinner which me and josh ordered.

<<...>>

Wahyu beef if I am not wrong.

<<...>>

Another meat I cant remember. :P

<<...>>

Looks nice on the stove hor?

<<...>>

Got prawns too! But they are not that fresh. L

<<...>>

Was in mood for SAKE. :P

<<...>>

The drink holder is interesting hor? And the ice will never get out when pouring!

<<...>>

Lastly, there was dessert as usual, and they were nice. J

Total damage done. Approx $120/=

Most of the cost is in the sake la. If not I think 70 bucks is good enough.

On the whole, the price for two is on the high side.

Daidomon is almost the same price yet theirs is buffet style.

But they supposedly serve better meat loh.

For me, they taste pretty much the same la.

Can really taste the difference btw wahyu n whatever"yu" eat. Lol

They are jus meat n they fill my "little", every growing tummy. J

-------------

OK hope this works.

*Kazammm!*

But it's really pretty beautiful cox there are a mixture of three plants. (sorry I dun know the name ;p) Got red one some more!

Hopefully this new plant will bring me some fresh oxygen and motivate me to work harder in the office!

The Pasta Shop @ Tiong Bahru Plaza

Having dinner here after strolling thru the various restuarant. Josh was nice enough to help me find a shop that sells model car spray paints. I am thinking if getting something sprayed paint. More about it later.

In the end we end up here to try it's pasta. I ordered the carbonara as usual. Was tempted to try the pork slice noodles but I feel for a good pasta shop to earn my second visit, they must first be able to prepare a good plate of carbonara.

Turns out I won't be coming back again. LOL. Cox I am not really satisfied. Not condemn but jus not really that fantastic loh.
