Dinner @ ECP lagoon n repeating lecture...

To think that i can blog now, explains how bored the lecture today is.

To start, we had a new lecturer today. Prof Peilin Zhou. Seems like one lecturer who have lotsa knowledge in the diesel engine. Because from one pic, he can actually talk almost 30mins!?! lecture was bored too... Coz more or less it for the Oceanic engineering students who have little or no knowledge in the marine engine. He was trying to tell us the principals of a 4-stroke n 2-stroke engines. Something which we spent almost half a semester to understand. He also made a interesting statement to us at the start of the lecture, "U can do watever u want in my class, read newspaper, etc. But u cant talk in my class!" N he meant it, coz big bear n i were kinda "testing" his system. N end up we kinda got "marked" T_T

Boring stuffs aside.

Dinner last night was great. Not the over-fed type but jus subtle. It was a boring day as the initial intention was to go 'chomp chomp' with big bear n xiaomei for dinner. Turn out they hav something impt last min, so end up me n josh was pretty aimless to where to eat. We finally decided to go ECP lagoon hawker. Coz we tot we could jo sean along but in the end, he was "busy". lol

It my first time to lagoon since they renovated n its actually josh first time there! "mountain tortise!?!" :P

Well, continued on tuesday, coz apparantly Mr Zhou notice that i was typing rather hard n hardworking. (lol) n came over. So he kinda stopped me. Oh did i said that he actually started the lecture by telling us that we can actually do ANYTHING in his lecture but "talking". He even mentioned reading the newspaper in class n he wont be bothered. Well, i must say he is not a "man with his words" or rather "Shou Hua Bu Suan Hua" guy....

Well, back to lagoon.

Lagoon changed quite a bit since the last last time i came. Now the stalls are all on the sides n the new seats are in the centre. There shelters here n there making it rather cozy. After a walk around the stalls, i had my eyes on the wan tan mee n josh was interested in the beef horfan. After which we saw this long queue in front of the satay beehoon stall. So i suggested to josh to get it since he kinda like it, while i try to wait for a seat. I was nvr a fan for satay beeehoon. But this one is super exceptional... When josh brought the beehoon over, i was like... "wow!" The steaming gravy totally covered the beehoon. Dun know why, i was very eager to grab a bite of it. And i was amazed. Coz its really really nice! My first time actually commenting on a plate of satay beehoon!?! Well, i guess it more satay bee hoon for me then~ Ordered the chicken wings n satay. Not the malay ones coz i always like pork satay. N got myself the wantan noodles.

The noodles was... ok loh. pretty well cooked noodles, tangy yet soft. But the char siew was very "minced" n the wantan was er... "puiny" four small small wantan jus dun fit the bowl... Was waiting for the satay n wings before ordering some "Toa tao" aka chinese mussels ba. Was worried ending up like the other time with sean like tat.So this time i was a bit more conservative on the ordering. In the end we changed our seat over to right infront of the stall. The satay was great. Tasty n soft. Taste like the long lost clementi satay stall but much more tender. Chicken wings were alright, i still prefer the cute chicken on at clementi or the one at pasir panjang FC.

In the end we didnt eat the mussels coz we were pretty full le. Walk around the lagoon n saw there was actually an installation of the indoor surfing structure. Wanted to take photos but the surfer was to fast passing us. Looks cool, maybe should try it next time.

Also miss the 'Little red house' restuarant there. Remember the other time went there with my camp mates... cant remember clearly wat liao... lol.

Tat kinda sum up my adventures there. :) Hoping to go there again.
