Its Sunday n i am PISSED!~

Well, maybe not tat pissed liao since i am having my instant noodles with cheeese saugages and "Chuya".

Yes, thats how sad i am now, fancy eating instant noodles at 8.30pm on a Sunday night, T_T, where my family is eating some nice seafood celebrating my sis birthday... Well, things happen in the evening n i really dun wann talk about it. I jus wanna brag about me losing my nice dinner, wasting my weekend evening n eating instant noodles. (Chuya and cheese saugages is a plus~, Ohh.... cheese ozing out.)

Didnt do much today, after a unhelpful trip to the Japan Travel Bureau. Was planning a Japan trip this coming chinese new year. But i know nuts about it, so a friend of my sis told us that we will be able to get maps, info about the place. End up the staffs lead us to www.japanguide.com and www.hyperdia.com to find info...

After the unfruitful trip at JTB, we went to the central library for more info. Spent almost 2hrs there reading the guide books. turn out is more useful then JTB. Maybe should try the webbies later. After lazing at the library. p.s. i am not book person. So unless it interests me, its actually a boring place to be in. After borrowing 4 jap guide n 2 foxtrot comics. :) We decided to go Miss clarity cafe to hav dinner. Initial plan was to go home for dinner to celebrate sis bdae. But i was feeling sianz coz they going with their friends, which i kinda know though. But i jus feel bored loh. I wan more entertainment out of a Sunday. I game of two would keep me entertained but it was turned down... Sianz... Tot Miss clarity will be a fun place to eat n turn out... Its still closed... Double sianz...

Decided to eat Chilli Padi buffet but they server dinner only after 6pm, too early... End up walking around Bugis. Bugis made lotsa changes since the last time i went there. The basement food area is up. Lotsa stalls selling food. Interesting ones like otah caught our eye. A stall was selling different flavours of otah like black peppers, laska, curry, nonya, all on toast or on thin crust which is actually the instant prata i think. End up we got a black pepper toast. Was still thinking about the buffet though. "Zhu Zhu one" Then i think eating such stuffs is not very wise before the buffet. End up after a few exchange of words, we decided to eat n eat n eat instead of buffet. End up at Food Court for dinner....

Well, wasn't really mood for food after a while n thats y i end up eating instant mees n drinking now.

Sigh... Lucky the cheese saugages are good. :)

But still i m bored... T_T

LOUSY LUNCH!!!

Jus got back from lunch n i simply have to blog this. Coz i am so unhappy bout my lunch.

Lunch at "Penjuru FC" was lontong n carrot cake. Was tricked by the pic displayed. Since i was in no mood to eat the other food. Eg, chicken rice, western food, noodles, fish soup, n mutton soup. They dun even have mix rice?!? "swayly" they are closed today, yes, TODAY... so "sway"

So the lontong came with half filled soup, n it taste like... curry vege loh. with lousy rice cake. the rice cake u "chop" in, the whole cake splits into many pieces...
*blarh*. End up i still finish it since i dun like to waste food, esp when they are edible...

Carrot cake was... ugly. Coz i think the chef cooked the carrot cake with the pan unwashed. so u get to see those black black stuffs around. Making it machiam "black pepper" carrot cake. But without the peppery taste. lol

Christmasy days~

Well, christmas hav jus passed n i am still in a christmasy mood~

Christmas eve was a day of great food, n games n many more games. lol. Met xiaomei n big bear for bowling at CSC bukit batok. We were fustrated coz there were many lanes but they were reserved. Apparantly they have a policy tat u can book lanes the day before. U also can write names in the waiting list n reserve lanes with ur hp number. We also didnt realised that we were actually 9th in the list, coz we only see on of the page where we were actually 2nd... So after seeing a few lanes clearing n our name still not called, we were pissed. Coz we wanna have a quick game before they go meet thier auntie for dinner. Luckily there was a lady, crystal, who came to our rescue. Er... so called rescue coz more things happen later. lol . So she offered us to play with her. Which we tot its very nice of her. She was the semi pro type. Having played bowling for over ten years! So naturally her start was pretty slow. Warm upm, wear gloves, shoes, etc. All these while we were all ready. lol. But i didnt mind the wait since she kinda gave us a few tips. :) The first game was alright, with me missing my spin again... Sigh... At the second game she added another two players, making the whole game very slow coz we have to wait 5 players each to roll our balls. So we got a bit impatient, with xiaomei most unhappy coz she needs the speed to play n score... In the end we bid farewell after two games n i brought them to jur west for thier dinner.

Right after i drop them n setting home, they called n wanna leave the place le... So end up i showered n meet them of another session of bowling. lol. This time at taman jur. Lousy game still so i dun wanna say much.

After tat met josh for dinner at sunset way. Had on of my best boneless beef ribs ever!!! All readers must go check it out. Called "Grilled Out" at Sunset way. The boneless kobe beef ribs (see below) is FANTASTIC!!!

The salad that come with the set meal. OK ba, the sauce is nice though.


The garlic bread with the set. Smells great but the taste is so so, Maybe coz its a bit to dry.


The soup, couldnt figure out wat soup it is. Maybe pumkin soup ba...


The ribeye which i had. Its some jap name beef. Dun know wats tat. But it rather tender. n well cooked. NAtural flavours. Not added sauces like black peppers or such. But a sauce was given to lift the taste.


The pork tenderlion for josh. Very dry. Pretty dissappointed since the kobe ribs beef was so good.

Er... Christmas, maybe another blog ba....
Tired fingers

JB trip

JB:
Woke up as early as 6am to get myself prepared for the trip. Travelled to Big bear's house to realised that they are still in bed. lol. Apparantly we scheduled 8am n we were a bit too early. Wahaha. (eager to go JB ma) End up we set off only about 8.30. reached JB around 9.30. Customs were smooth, guess most of singaporeans still sleeping ba. :P Were searching for a restuarant recommended by a JB eateries guide. End up the stall was taken up by another similiar restuarant. So we decided to give it a try. Well... Turns out that it was yucky food. :( Was wondering why there was still a number of people inside? Maybe they do not have tastes as good as ours. *according to xiaomei*

After lousy dimsum at the restuarant, we went to pelangi plaza. Oh btw, the lousy dimsum restuarant is called fook hua restuarant n near the pelangi shopping mall....

Shopping at 10am at pelangi plaza is boring, simpily most stalls are not open. Luckily the print shop xiaomei n big bear looking for is open. After tat we walked walked around the quiet plaza before going to "Jusco"

Jusco is jus down the road approximately 30mins ride. Along the way there is a big "The Store" which i was told they sell cheaps goods but not necessary good goods. lol. Jusco was a huge place, or rather its a long long shopping mall. We didnt walk the whole length thought, since we were jus looking for lunch. End up eating Cha Chan Ting there. *Pictures when i upload from "marksman"* Food there were so so, but the highlight was "Luncheon Meat with cheese on a focaccia bread. Ohh... long time nvr see luncheon meat le. lol The rest of the food seems to normal as compared to this n its delicious too!

A quick walk around the mall (not much walking since xiaomei eagerly waiting to play bowling....) n we set off to er... Dun know the name. Jus another bowling center near jusco. Its a nice place i would say, 36 lanes, with very very tall ceiling. Lanes were in good conditions n the place looks pretty new even though according to big bear, they are around for a couple of years le. Bowling were normal for me even though i managed to spin some good "hooks" off the lanes. But they jus dun come together... T_T But xiaomei managed a 158 top score and big bear a 163! Should hav taken down a photo of xiaomei when she tot she will win the day with a score of 158 before realising big bear come out with a 163 score. lol!

After the wonderful bowling, (hands still feeling the ache after all those spins) we went to a hospital nearby to visit big bear's cousin. First time visiting a hospital in JB n was so glad that i am staying in singapore where the hospital services n facilities were so much better. (No offence to malaysians reading my blog)

After tat we went to Danga bay to look for dinner. Quite a nice place but seems that they lacked some "X-factor" to the place. Dining there is boring too ba. Though they hav two high class restuarant. Somehow i feel dining in JB should be cheap n good n big. lol. Turn out we went back to "taman sentosa" for dinnier. One of the lucky seafood stall owner managed to catch our attentions n we ate cereal prawns, begger chicken, fried kangkong (which xiaomei n big bear dun eat. @_@) and stingray. before that we ate fried penang kway tiao n fried oyster too. All were nice i should say. even the price were friendly! $79rm for all those! I am so going to go in n eat again...

After a heartful dinner, we wanted to return home. But knowing that at this time the customs is sure gonna jam packed, so we decide to watch a movie. End up picking the show, "I am Legend". Super nice show!!! Not shown in singapore yet, so i was surprised its shown there. One of the show that really made me paid full attention thruout the show, n even managed to shocked me quite a few times... (Man... i am pretty timid at times. lol).

We finished the show at around 1130pm. Hurriedly rush to the lorry checkpoint. Big bear's fav check out point. N it really fast! although he made quite a few "merry-go-round" the area. lol.

End up reaching home around 1am. Took a peek at the customs, n was reliefed that big bear know the lorry checkpt if not i guess eariliest 2am reach home. Zzzz....

OoooooSIM @ Citeron

Went to service my van this morning. And collect them jus now. Citeron, or rather Cycle & Carriage got this customer service centre for their customer. There's a coffee machine, 2 x LCD tv with couch, 4 x pc with internet access and 2 x OSIM chair. Jus nice for big bear and me. :)

First time trying out this chair, since almost everytime at their roadshow sure got many sales people around, so paiseh to try them. Well, i must say its feels super good to be on it. jus look at us. :)

Super weekend with mum.

Spent some quality time with mum on sunday, ending up burning a $500/= hole on my pocket.... T_T. Well, its not tat bad la, since she bought quite a bit of stuffs.

Actually was at a wedding lunch of some relative, sianz... Kanna drag by my mum since my two sisters dun wanna go. End up having the lunch full of undesirable questions shooting here n there. Luckily got a few jobs on hand to get me out of the dining hall. Lunch took us almost 3hours. Who eats lunch at 2.30 n ends at 5.30? Shouldn't it be called tea break wedding??

Jus before leaving house, i see my mum brought a huge bag out. So i asked, y. Then i realised she was preparing to do some shopping after lunch. So end up i cancelled my appointments after lunch and accompanied her shopping. :) (Good boy hor!?!)

After lunch we went to OG at orchard point. Parking at centrepoint was crazy. Think its a per entry charge hence the crowd. End up at Orchard point which cost my sister 6 bucks, coz i driving her car. :)

OG to me seems like a old lady shopping mall, but its so much different now. Wider range of things to shop. Some more got lotsa young stuffs. Time to change the mentallty. End up we got two pair of shoes for my mum, (check out wat shoes she bought?!?) one bed sheet and a handbag for my auntie, one set of hello kitty towel set for my cousin, a wallet and new pillow costing $150!!! for myself. haha. 宠宠自己:) Total spending: $400/= bucks... Thats y i am pretty broke now. Also had dinner at TCC. I really like this place. The food they serve looks very nice taste jus as good too.

The CROCS sandal...

Surprisingly nice i feel, especially with the limegreen strips. Bring out the freshes in the sandal. Personally i feel crocs is cheap plastic at extremely high price. But with this, its actually become a nice sandal with fresh colours and super lightweight. Maybe that explains the popularity ba. :)

Christmas is coming, upcoming events are, JB trip on 20th, BBQ on 22nd, Traders Hotel @ 23rd, Christmas countdown on 24th, 25th still unoccupied... T_T

Shipbuiding

For those who are not informed, i am currently studying a Bac degreee in naval architect and marine engineering at Uni Glasgow and Strathclyde. Many may think that naval architect should be associated to ship building right?

So yesterday we, big bear n i, decided to build our first ship....

Wat happen here is we were given a lot of coupons which allows us to build something out of lego bricks as a way to donate $$$ to some charity.

I am a SSDD

SSDD means Super Stupid Dum Dum

Yes thats wat i am after flunging my class test. The thing is that the questions are already "given" to us. From many past year papers, we realised that the questions would not "run" away. More or less the same. Some more i have this feeling that the previous batch class test paper would be the same. I have been telling people to study that n yet i have not took it seriously. The problem with me is the for theory questions, it takes a long time for them to really "settle" into my head. So jus by reading n reading them, i will not remember. Furthermore, my "england" is no where near the 'good' mark, makes answering questions even tougher... I have been banging on the mathematical questions which i am pretty strong on. Even that, 10 marks from a 22marks paper i couldnt bag them all, simply because i was studying the wrong mathematic question.

So i can only imagine a 10/22 score. Thats how bad is it going to get... I can also imagine the previous assignment i got was also below average. probably a 75% score. That adds up to 12% from a possible of 20% which means i have to do extra hard for the exams, which there waould be less help coz more to study, which means... DIE...

I think i have to "自我反省" <--- i wonder if the chinese will work on blogger. Anyway, it means i have to think think many things.
1. Set my piorities right. DOTA is definately going down! Its a MUST!?! Even if my cousin jo me to play... (But then again, its a rare occasion that he jo so must not be spolit sport right?) <--- OMG...
2. Stay healthy. A good results start with a healthy mind. When the body is healthy, the mind stays fresh, answers will come out from the head clearly. (imagine th anwers poping out of the skull... Eeeeee) This also means more rest. Physically n Mentally. (Mmm... physically means sleep more, mentally??? play more DOTA? lol) <--- ok its getting confusing, nn in order to satisfy point 2, i should stop typing this shit n sleep, or play game... lol

Tired... after super long update.

Dear all, jus wanna update all who miss CC wedding post. Jus happen to finish typing. Then i realised it super long!!! Sorry for being to long winded, but there are jus to many details to type le. Do read them if free. :)

Next update is food.
Oh, btw. I bought tennis racket today, 95 bucks but pretty not worth coz i feel big bear got a better deal... T_T

Looking foward to tennis, hope it can be a long time investment.
