Shown here is when we successfully lifted this 277.5T MWA + GB system off the material barge and off to the sea bed.
Took the contractor 12hrs to take out the sea fastenings and lift it just above the water. And another 4hrs to drop it into the sea bed. After this, they are supposed to have the ROV fixed with a cutter to cut the wire followed by fixing a pump to provde the suction to further sink in the GB under the sea bed. And this took another 20hrs as they have problems with the ROV and the setup of the pump has some hiccup. Can you imagine the contractors initially estimate 12hrs for re installation! We took 36hrs to complete...
