Canon 500D~

Was crazy last Friday after a steamboat dinner with CC n Ade. After tempting me with all those DSLR terms and good stuffs about owning a DSLR, I actually agreed to meet him the next day morning to go Cathay Photo to buy one. However, when we were there, i wasnt very comfortable with the salesman as he was firm on the price and strict to give freebies. This actually turn me off, as i tot when i wanna spent more the 1k to buy stuffs, i would like to be served well and being one who like to bargain quite a lot, i felt helpless in front of him an feels like i was being cast aside, like someone who wasnt interested to buy one. Hence, i stepped out of the shop n left without buying.

On the other hand, CC proceed with his purchase ans return with his priced procession. I feltbad, in a way like i hav sabotaged him, when we came down together with the intention to buy two n to meet again tml to take photos, n some how or rather hides away when the real deal came...

In the fight to claim justice to my buddy, I drove down to Ms Colour at AMK to buy the identical model. Only saving myself $17 bucks, my pride and waste $$$ on the time n petrol cost.

However, i didnt have chance to meddle with my expensive gift for myself as i went off straight to Tampiness for a over the night Marjong... (which i lost $16 bucks. T_T)

Sunday morning was a day to help me mum snap up her numerous painting for her up-coming art gallery magazine. With the help of CC n Ade (Thanks alot!) We managed to finish over 200 shots of paintings n left for Little "Guilin" to test out our new cam.

Shots at Guilin was not fantastic as i didn't buy the wide angle lense. My trainer says its more cost efficient to buy the 50mm prime lense and purchase the 18-55mm lense on the net, which he did this morning, costing him $125! Hence, i am only able to take fantastic wide angle view of the "Guilin" quarry by borrowing his lense.

After some random photos in the park, I met Josh and Sean for dinner n we had Imperial Treasure at Orchard ION.

See below for some initial shots~ more to come after~
Zzzz........

My all-time fav!

This Dumplings in Chilli Oil Noodles, was soft and tasty despite the looks of a oily bowl of noodles. However, as usually, its not to Josh's liking as he prefers noodles that is more "tangy".

Nothing much in this photo of porridge. But there is TWO slices of beef, TWO pork meat balls and FOUR pig stomach. On the whole, the porridge is smooth, much to Josh's liking this time. :)

Mixed combination of Roast Duck n Soya Sauce Chicken. The skin of the duck is crisp n crunchy, however, the meat is not flavorful. The chicken taste tough to me. But they are great with the spring onion sauce.

Beef brisket is my fav after i tried one in bugis. However, they hav closed down since and i still couldn't find another comprative one...

After dinner, we went Canele.

The Choc Fondant was not warm enough and Sean was complaining that the one at "Chalk" was so much better.

The... I dun know name, dessert chosen by Josh, was the best of the night.

My Macaroon burger was super sweet. Hate that soury apricot jelly in between.

Took this before i left which i tot it was quite nice...

Early in the morning, before we walked to Little "Guilin"

With CC's wide angle lens.

I tot this one looks nice.

Josh n Sean infornt of the ION.
