Satisfying meal...

Jus return from ABC market n had a hearty meal of Wantan noodles.

Actually we were looking at this blog where the blogger wrote lotsa reviews on hawker food, so we decided to visit one of them nearby. ABC market.

The Wantan stall was not hard to find. Right at the centre of the hawker. Centre row, centre block, at one edge.

Ordered two big bowls. $3 bucks. Its really two big bowls loh. One for the noodles. which seems like a serving for two. Two man serving. Not the ladies type. The noodles was well prepared. Saw the stall uncle dipped the noodles in cold water before serving. Nowadays not much people useds this style of cooking. "Lazy" turn out the noodles was still tangy, yet wet n soft. I like~ The sauce was also very wet. Notice the stall lady put some "lor chap" before serving. Maybe that adds to the taste.

The Char Siew is below average ba. Not those fatty n wet king. Dry ones. Nothing mucht to comment. The wantan was also normal ba. Reasonably sized wantan with meat, dun think i tasted prawn inside. Or maybe i wolfed them down too fast le. lol.

Oh the whole, its a satisfiying meal. Big portion n great taste. If only the char siew was a bit fatty n the wantan was bigger... (Er... That would be a prawn dumpling liao right? lol)
