Ok since i have some photos of me n josh going to AMK to eat the crab beehoon~
Ok it all started when josh n i were bored out on wat to do on sun, with nothing in our mind, n since we decided to hav dinner together, i decided to go AMK hub. Since its like the next new thing in SG.
We set off pretty late around 3 since josh was practising with his gang on christmas songs. Seems tat they do hav lot of "orders" this chirstmas. cool!
After picking him up, we set off to AMK. All thanks to my "powderful" N95 n its GPS system, we managed to get there without a breeze. less the few turns we made abruptly no thanks to the late voice navigation from the phone.
AMk hub looks like TPY hub to me. But we didnt go there straight. We went around to AMK ave 3 where the famous crab beehoon was. Initially i tot i nvr been to this place n wanna try it out. turn out that it was one of the place where my sis actually brought my family there before. Apprantly i wasnt tat much a "food" person then. lol. *thinking about wat kind of shape i was then.*
So there was two stalls that sells the crab stuffs. The one that josh guided me to was also the one i ate before. Apparantly its suppose to be the more famous one. :) Since it was 4pm, n we werent really that hungry n craving for crab, we decided to drop by AMK hub for a walk.
Parking at AMK hub was er... "horrendous" If i didnt count wrongly, there was at least 5 round the circles before we rech the carpark. N it was jammed... Took us nearly 30mins to park our car, or rather van. lol
So we walk walk here n walk walk there n picked up some food along the way. There was this very salty "Taiwan Crispy Fried Chicken", brings me back memories when i was in taiwan training the cadets, I ate so much fried chicken then n its was uncomparable to wat we have here. Its simply.... "Ahhhhh...." Well, we didnt miss the NTUC hypermart there. There isnt any chance that we will miss a supermaket together, esp when its somewhere we seldom go. lol *i can sense josh starting his "meow meow" curse*

Went back to the crab coffee shop. Josh was saying it would be packed if we were too late. I wasnt really gonna believe it until i saw this...
Queue when we came. But it longer when we reach the end.

Well, this is wat make the crab restuarant real good. BTW, see how skillful the guys have deshell the crab. lo. N it could only be.... ME ME ME!!!
Anyway, i have to say, the crab are really fantastic! They are meaty n pretty well cooked. BUT... they also cost super duber EX! We paid a total of 85 bucks for tat meal loh!?! The two crab already 70 bucks. The "crabby -> pronouced as REAL CRAP. not that there is crab meat in it." vege cost us 12 bucks! Well, if u are a crabby person, n craves meaty crabs, i would say its a great place to be! Provided u hav the $$$$$$$ to pay. If not u could simplily pay 12 bucks for three small crabs, not really meaty type, for a crab meal at jur west st 52.
Since i stay nearby, i think i would opt for Jur west one.
