Duck rice @ Philip street

Find that there is jus to many stuffs to blog everyday. And almost everyday i can have something to blog. And due to this, i have began to "anyhow" blog. No longer retaining my initial intention of improving my English... Sigh, seems that it is going to be tough. Nevertheless, i still have to carry on writing.

This time, DH n CF brought me to this supposely very nice roast duck place, called Gourmet Corner.



From the outside, it looks pretty alright. but already i saw the duck is not very oily type, not shiny glossy too. The char siew also dun look appealing. But i am one who dun really judge the books by its cover, i nvr judge the food according to the appearance. So i carried queueing up for the food with DH.
Turn out, the duck was pretty dissappointing... Same goes to the char siew n ribs. Only the "Sio Ba" was good, not really good actually, but slightly better then the rest.
It really makes me wonder, how come there are so many people queueing for such sub-standard food?!? Dun understand. the "Lao Pa Sak" one is much better. But the ventilation is bad n its more food court style. n many feel they charge tourist rate.
Sigh... need to educate these people more....
