Item: Lunch with DH on one of those weekdays.
Locn: Bee Heong palace along Telok Ayer Street
Cost: Cant remember but really affordable. Ranging from 3-8 a dish.
Happiness factor: 7/10 (good food n good company)
Dh jioed me for lunch on day n he brought me to this restuarant.
I was initially surprised y he brought me here coz i always tot he is quite careful in selecting lunch n he seldoms visit restuarants for lunch one. Turnout this is a rather cheap place for lunch n the food is pretty nice.
They serve typical Hokkien dishes like the "He zoe (Prawn fritters)" n fried "Tang Hoon" Which was pretty well prepared. :) I even brought my collegues over the next day and we all enjoyed the food. Although one of my collegue when to take a peek at the kitchen and was disgusted. lol Well, i personnally have not seen it, so i choose not to believe it, esp when the food served was nice. Oh, they even had the "Tung Po Rou" which is simply heavenly... Ohhh.....
Dh ordered this curry which is pretty nice. Guessed he tried almost all authentic dishes so he chose this ba.

I ordered a few side dishes to go with my "Tung Hun". This is the prawn fritters. No complains. good. :)
Got the "Prawn Paste chicken" too. Which is heavily flavoured with the prawn paste. Definately worth the money!
I jus remembered that after these two times to the restuarant, i went again with my boos too, n this time we ate the "Mee Sua" n prawns too. No complains this time as the collegue that complain was not around. lol The rest of us simply enjoyed the food. :)
