Was home for dinner tonight even though mum is not at home cooking. But i suddenly had the urge of making one nice instant noodles and this was jus there!
It was one of the "many type of food" that my mum n sis bought from Hokkaido. Apparantly they bought so much that the seller gave them a huge box to bring back. lol
The package looks impressive and interesting for a Japanese instant ramen. Sis came back before i finish cooking and was telling me that the noodles is not that nice as the soup was soy sauce base, just like wat the package says. But i have already set my mind cooking and already have an idea how to cook it. She did mention to me to use spring onions to bring out the soy sauce flavour and looks more authentic. (Jus like wat was ate in Tyoko before.)
So in the noodle went and out............
Tata!
I cooked some mini saugages with the soup. I realised the trick is not to cook the noodles with the soup base! Normally we will cook the noodles and soup in one serving of water. (Maybe its jus me. *lazy* lol) But this time, i realised when cooking the noodles, the "Kee" came out and the soup become yellowish. I tot the soup would be bad with the "kee" in it, so i changed the water after cooking the noodles, and Voila!~
Turns out the noodles is springy, (jus like that type i like, but not so much on the "nua nua" side) and soup is slightly salty, heavy flavour of soysauce. The eggs was beaten and poured over the boiling soup to create something like sharkfins soup egg. :)
The end product is one delicious home made Japanese instant ramen. Oishi!!!
