Part 2

I was grateful as she eventually found a seat and I was so relieved.

This is the kinda great services we get from SQ. Cheers SQ!

Business trip aka "private delivery" trip to KL

Just came to KL this morning to submit a tender document. Sounds like a business trip but look more like a "private delivery" trip.

Arrived at T2 for a MAS flight @ 0950. To my surprised, it was re-timed to 1200. I was shocked! I confronted the counter staff and was told that the plane was changed hence the number of seats decreased. Hence this flight is re-timed..

I wasn't very happy with it and demanded a solution. Saying I need to reach there before lunch for a meeting. The staff couldn't do anything saying that they could change me over to SQ but the next flight (1015hrs) is full too. I couldn't care and ask her to request a seat dr me in SQ. She directed me to SQ counter and to put myself in the standby list. It seems like the best solution at this moment but I felt I will be hanging around in T2 till noon.

Surprisingly, when I approached a staff in SQ, this lady mentioned that it will be tough to get a seat as it's full but will try for me.

"Tang Dian Wang" @ Suntec

Blogging @ this Shanghai rest in suntec.

Ordered the spring onion hainanese chicken, tofu with "bak kwa", "Hong yu chao shou" and vintage fried bee hoon. Ordered the bee hoon coz josh was caving for it in the morning n we missed breakfast.

In the rest~, it's pretty cost coz it's in a dimly litted cool orange theme. Looks rather comfy and inviting.

Food wise, it's just above the 'ok' mark. Most of the time Its because it's quality is much better rather then the taste. Especially the Ginger sauce or the chicken. It's light yet u can taste the full flavour of the Ginger.

Desserts we had red ruby with melon and steam egg. The melon was sweet n the soup was cooling n subtly sweet. But the red ruby was shattered n the chestnut is seperated from the 'reds'. Steam egg was so so... I guessed the Chinatown one is much better.

Maybe could try the dim sum next time.

Dmg done $50 for the two of us...

Golden sands part 4

This pork trotter really stun us when it came. Jus three of us eating, the girl recommend such a heavy weight dish!

But the "wowed" factor carried through the time we put it in our mouth. The "leg" was so tender n soft that much of it melts in ur mouth. Not the huge chunk of meat that I cut out at the same time loh. (pig pig one) :) the sauce is not like those "loh der ka" type so some might be dissappointed. The sauce is wet n diluted, more like a soup to me. But salty la... I like...

Overall, not that kind of "Zhi Char" I was looking for but it the get together that is more worth while. Hopefully can arrange more such outing again.

Golden sands part 3

Wel, like the look of it, this looks like fried duck. Although they have some fancy name as usual but it taste just like wat I named it. LOL.

Nothing special like the previous, but as a duck lover, it is not the bad. It's not those "fried until dry dry" type. But rather wet on the inside. Though I felt if some special sauce over it will raised the flavour so much more!

Golden sands part 2

This is the "Jin Zhi Yu Ye" on the menu. Basically it's "Chye Sim" boiled with fried seaweed on top. Then with some oyster sauce.

More like a novelty to me, coz it sounds nice, looks nice but taste just like "Chye Sim". Unless u are looking for novelty like me for a first time try n probably blogging, I dun recommend trying.

Golden sands @ Ang Mo Kio part 1

YyyUtryetA very impromptu meeting with my old time poly friend leads to a wild dinner at this small coffee shop ien Ang Mo Kio. Of course I dun any how choose la. It is after reading some review from makansutra and some foodie blogs.

If I didn't remember wrongly, the address is 215 Ang Mo Kio at 22.

First we order is this huge plate of crab. Was quite "gianing" for crab since I returned from offshore. Since the websites says the crabs here were good so I try loh.

Well, I think I am not dissappointed with this coz it looks good. Taste well n the crabs were meaty.

Next up "Jin Zhi Yu Ye"

New MRT feature!

Actually I am sqeezing my way in this MRT when I notice this feature.
There is this panel showing the stations map right on top or the door. But instead of a normal map, this time there are led on every station. Indicating which stop your are now and also the route of the train. Very much luke the train feature I saw previously in France. I guessed it's a good feature and now there won't be any excuse of taking the wrong direction train and getting late!
Cool!

Anyway, I might e rather "sua ku" coz it's really been a while since I last step food on singapore. :)

Anyway some photos of the feast me and my old time polymates had at Ang Mo Kio St 22 next time!

Almost midnight singapore time and 2300hrs in HCMC. Kinda bored, think i will go get some booze before i turn-in ba. Worried i will land myself in one of those girly bars... lol

Wild day on shore! Last last last part!

Guess they have selective hearig when one had too many beers.

Saved the arguement, I was unhappily eating my breakfast as the other two had theirs and end up having omelette n French bread for brrakfast. Unsatisfying meal loh...

Luckily or this trip I managed to gets some DVDs and a headphone to make Internet calls. Which pretty good for ts price tag - 130,000 VDN = S$14. Cheap. The DVDs were like USD$¹a disc, so we didn't bother to think too much to the selecitions.

Ok finally this ultra long story is done! All thanks to this iPod. N shozu. Now that I can to back to sleep me. Night!

Wild day in shore! Last last part.

So we were suppose to meet at 9.30, before taking the 10am boat back. By 8, I was trying to pull myself up coz I worried I will oversleep. At exactly 9.15 I walk over to ring kevin up. No response... Either he is still sleeping, showering or have already check out. So I went down to check with the recept. turn out he haven check out. I hurried up again as I was worried that he is still sleeping. Rang he doorbell quite a lot of time before he opened the door. Apparantly he was in the phone that's y he didn't answer. LOL.

No one was around, so we check out before going to the other hotel to find the other. Realized the other two is not in their room, but their passwords are still with athe recept. We were thinking, they cant be so drunk last night an totally forgot bout the returning boat?

Took them till 1030 to appear. War happen was they actually got up early n went out for breakfast! When we ask y they didn't stick to the plan of 9.30 they say they didn't hear us say that...

Wild day on shore! Last part.

We drank till 3am n the bar is closing. By then, kevin is already holding hands with a girl n talking about going to the beach. For me, I already know my limit n wanted to go back to hotel le.

In the end, we sorted the scottish guy to one hotel, with his "girlfriend" LOL. While kevin n I checked into the other "clean" hotel. Suite room each!

Apparantly, in Vietnam, there are some hotel which strictly restrict these kinda girls to the hotel. (like the one kevin got for me.) U can easily book one in the other hotel nearby for those "business", but u need to book two rooms. One for the girl, one for the guy. Then whether u wanna do ur "business" in which room it's up to u. LOL.

End up I hardly enjoyed the room cuz I was rather drunk liao. But it's huge! With two toilet n a living room! Maybe I post some pics later.

Oh crap, one last bit before I end...

Posted by ShoZu

Wild day on shore! Part 3

We end up at red parrot. But the moment we walked in, a number of girls stormed in front of us, like gold had jus arrived. Oh, must be that scottish friend with us that gave them the impression.

But we only sit down for less then 15 min, got a drink n left. Coz we felt "pressurized" as there were too many of them n the attitude is not right.

So next one we went to Black Cat. This time, kevin knew a few girls there n we started to sit n drink. The Scottish n another were goners, as the sat at the sofa, sleeping. This time we even fit a bottle if tequila! Crap... This is crazy.

By then, u was already quite tipsy liao. So n drink n stop n drink n stop. The girls started to char around, asking me to drink. But I was smart! I fooled around with the drinks n water, end up the girls drink more then me. Wahahaha!

Last part, to be continued...

Posted by ShoZu

Wild day on shore! Part 2

Of course, all these drinks came with those bar girls around loh. Two of the guys went straight to the ladies went we entered the bars and they eventually got themselves one each. Definately not for me man! I nvr like this kinda girls loh. Luckily the client was quite a decent chap, so I won't feel awkard around.

But I can see that there are a few who are not there for that kinda "business" loh. In the end I was having a few chats with them. Actually one of them is quite sweet! Kevin likes her though. LOL.

After around 8pm, it was left with kevin n I. The rest have gone to do their "business". They call it "Bombom" LOL. I dun need to explain further la. :p

Dinner was nice. We had a firewood pizza and lamp chop/steak for us. Love the pizza as the crust is thin n ingredients is quality stuff. Finally, fine food after 4weeks!

After that we returned to the bar n saw more people around. Sat down, had another few drinks. N kevin suggested bar hopping.

To be continued...

Wild day on shore! Part 1

Had one of my wildest day on shore last night when the while lot of us had a chance to get on shore for a night.

We are suppose to return late night yesterday but the captain gave us the green light to stay over. And that was the start of a wild wild night...

We reached shore at 1pm and our "tour guide", kevin brought us straight to the VFB bar. That's with coherence with the rest of the guys loh. N all I can do is tag along, I need a food cold beer man...

From ¹to 8, we were drinking n drinking. I had 12bottles of heinken already as every one was busy buying each other beers. We play pool, losers have to "ring the bell" which means buying everyone a drink! Even the owner of the bar bought us a round! That was pretty nice of him. We were all having fun. After a few games, I couldn't help but lost twice and that resulted in a damage of almost USD$100!!!

Drinks were cheap, like USD$5 a cup, but to buy almost 15 pax twice, I realized it's enough for me from the day. LOL.

Post that didnt go thru from shozu

*Project Manager!?! Me?!?*

Well, I was writing about this topic on my bed when I recieve this news the previous week. And untill now i dun have a chance to resume the duties...

That night, I recieved a email from my boss that he have spilted the whole team of naval architects into two teams and i happen to be a project manager managing one of the teams!?!

Basically, i need to manage the projects assigned to my team. And allocate projoct handlers and surveyors for the jobs. At the same time i need to manage the progress of all these projects and be kept in the loop at all times. Then i will report the jobs to my boss. Who was initially in this position but he handles ALL the projects in the company alone. So as the number of projects grows, he gets stressed and stretched, but he really really manages it very well. But in this new setup. He gets relieved from all those stress and yet still be able to manage the projects and he would be able to set his sights further to reduce conflicts and problems.

The thing is, i am hardly in the office at all!?! 3 weeks after I joined the company, I was sent to the first part of my company sponsored "curise to nowhere" for three weeks! And when i return to office, i got myself another weekend "holiday to nowhere" in Lumut, one of the "tiny" town in Perak, Malaysia. Then after that i got myself another week in the office and "Boom", i am back in the "cruise to nowhere" again....

Actually I am very honoured and happy but at the same time, I am worried that i wouldn't live up the to expectations of my boss. Hope that i dun dissappoint him, or rather. I MUST NOT do that!

Wah... So fast stress liao...

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Well bascially that wat i wrote that night.

Now I am brainstorming the things that can be improved in the office whenever I have some free time (which means after i got bored in my games. lol) I know that i have to get rid of my laziness before i can succeed in my career. And i need to improve my "Ang Mo" sia, really "terok" leh. Communicating with the "Ang Mo" on board raises lots of "huh? yes? i beg your pardon? i am sorry..." So full of shit... Then again i dun think writing such shit on this blog will help anyway. Maybe Wii got some games to improve english. lol

Talking about Wii. I have been sourcing some forums about modding Wii. Seems like is quite a hazzle to use the machines ones it gets modded. U got to be really cautious not to allow un-necessary updates to the system, if not u will get your machine "brick". Basically means that your Wii will en up like a brick, useless...

Anyway, after convincing my best friend to get a Wii for his birthday, and more friends of mine are getting that too, i guessed that i have to get one too! That is after my room/house is renovated. I guess that will means a christmas present for myself. Or anyone out there wanna get me a Wii for christmas?!? :P

Cheers all,
Kenny

Anyone care for a suntan?

I can nvr believe this is happening. But seeing is believing...

Everybody is actually busy or here with a purpose and I really dun understand why these people are here.

They are a group of japanese divers, who are responsible at the last phase of our project, which is the riser tie-in. But a number of them are here the moment the barge moveout from sg. I understand they need to maintain the equipments on board, but so many? Further more, 2 weeks ago, another lot of 20+ came in. I understand about a dozen of them will be in the sat chamber coz the dive is more then 50 meters. But the rest? Wat I see most of the time they are smoking around the barge and near the gym n now this. Lol They sure seems very "eng" around log...

MWA installation

Shown here is when we successfully lifted this 277.5T MWA + GB system off the material barge and off to the sea bed.

Took the contractor 12hrs to take out the sea fastenings and lift it just above the water. And another 4hrs to drop it into the sea bed. After this, they are supposed to have the ROV fixed with a cutter to cut the wire followed by fixing a pump to provde the suction to further sink in the GB under the sea bed. And this took another 20hrs as they have problems with the ROV and the setup of the pump has some hiccup. Can you imagine the contractors initially estimate 12hrs for re installation! We took 36hrs to complete...

Clockwise or Anti-clockwise?

This seems to be the next hot topic on our barge this days, as we struggled to remove the twist in the chains of the morring legs.

After punching in the nine 35m mooring piles, 15 meters deep into the seabed, we carried on to deploy the ground chain, pretensioned it to the design load (250T) then we laid the excursion limiter load chain (Basically its a length of chain with 12 huge blocks along the chains.) followed by the top chains. After completing one cluster (We have three cluster, three legs each) i was back home before they carry on with the next two. This time i am back to see the next pharse which is the hooking up and the installation of the Mid Water Arch (MWA) and finally the riser installation.

When i return to site again, they jus about to commence the hook-up operation. So the FSO was towed in. That is quite a sight as we get to see the FSO positioned 30m to the rear of our barge. We actually took quite a bit of photos. :P

Now we have all nine mooring chains stopped off at the turret top. The next thing to do is to verify that there is no twist, or rather the twist is within the limitations of the design of the turret and chains. The plan was to pull all nine top chain up to the turret, check on the twists, followed by tensioning it to the required tension and approparite angle. This is to make sure there is even tension throughout the chains even if a storms come in or if we have to abandom the site. But jus when we were heaving the second last chain, the chain got stuck. We proceed to the last one and it was stuck too. And a forecast of 5-6meters waves is imminent hence we pick up anchors and got ourselves approximately 300meters away from the site and standby for the bad weather.

Turn out, the anticipated bad weather didnt come. After waiting aimlessly in the middle of the ocean, we decided to deploy back to site jus at the dawn of Depavali. Turn out, there was an miscommunication with the little tugs boats we had, and they only arrived around 5pm. The set up took away the rest of the day light and we started work right after dinner.

First they got the tugs to assist in removing the jam in the the turret top. After that they got a few riggers to go down on a small boat to attach a tugger to it and coil around the chain, in the required direction to untwist the chain. After they hook up the tugget to the chain, they will pull n try to reduce the twist. After which the ROV will swim along the chains to inspect the twist. For one chain, we need to inspect at least 3 times. That is bascially wat i was required to do at this point of time. Approve/unapprove the twist and the riggers will remedy it if necessary. This untwisting went on for another 20hrs. Inbetween it, we managed to untwist and pull in 4 chains. So there is another 5 more to go.

At this point of time, i am already without sleep for more then 32hrs. Already feeling quite zoombie around but they keep on anticipating that the job would be down soon, as a matter of fact, my work is going to start again coz the ROV have jus been instructed to do another survey on the chains. Chain #4, which is our 5th chain. Yeah!

Oh... I totally went off the point!

Wat i really wanted to post was the discussion we had about the twisting of the chains! Well there was quite a confusion about this twisting of the chain. Basically when the ROV swim from the bottom of the seabed to the surface, should we determine that there is a twist in the closkwise direction, we need to give proper instructions to the people in the turret to retify the twist. But the problem is;

1.) Its is determined that the if u see the twist from the ROV swimming upwards (from the bottom of the sea bed to the surface) the direction of twist would be different when the ROV swims from the surface to the bottom of the seabed. Try to visualise it if u are not sure.

2.) Different people have different perspective to the direction while viewing the twist from the ROV point of view. i.e. You could be thinking of a clockwise twist but the other party could see it as a anti-clockwise twist.

3.) The two operational guys already have a perspective that if a clockwise twist is found, they will remedy it with an anti-clockwise twist. But this is only to the agreement within the team and the ROV. On the client side, TPOT rep and me did not have any understanding in coherence with them. Hence when the first twist was found, we took more then an hour, trying to argue the fact that its a CW or anti-CW...

4.) Further more, there was another TPOT rep who is particular fussy about all the comments made thru. And he yaks and yaks over the radio so many times that it have pissed off the contractor already before hand. As he tried to get himself involved in this mess, he jus makes things worst.

5.) But that is not the worst! Last thing we need is an operational supervisor with a very high self esteem, and always feels that he is right. This time when we view this twist, people on the bridge conclude that there is a 1.5times twist. But he practised the corrective measure wrongly and in the end, starts to pull of some excuses that its our fault! And the more we tried to explains, we are making it worst. He simply dun listen, end up we all gave up and didnt bother to comment...

Well, i guessed it quite a bit of a post. If not a messy one coz i feel i am not in the right state of mnd to blog. Coz i have been up for more then 32hrs without sleep... Still cannot sleep... OMG...

Wat a holiday...

Guessed everyone will be enjoying the long weekend starting today. But i am going to be stranded in the middle of the sea... Sigh... Sianz...

Well, besides the fact that i will be pratically wasting my time this weekend with games and outdated movies, things have not been going well for me over here. Work have not progress as expected. Was suppose to finish this hook-up of mooring legs this week but we drag due to equipment failures and unexpected delay in the use of the equipment causing us one whole week and still not even half the job done... A supposely 2-weeks job will turn out to drag for another one or two weeks... So i estimate we will only finish work around mid nov. T_T

Beside this bad news, i have been feeling extrememly FAT these days coz the chef really cook good food around. I jus had *Braised pork belly* Very oily actually but nice. lol. *Pan-fried dory fish* This time the chef cooked it really salty and kinda spoilts the taste. But, as usual, i dun waste food u know. lol. *Mix vegetables fritters* This time this is not hot n gets a bit soggy which dun taste as nice as before. Thats basically wat i had for dinner. Lunch i had *Modified KFC* with rice. No need to explains wats tat ba. :) Beside those, there was also nice beef slices with onion sauce which we had for lunch, and i didnt eat rice for that meal, but i ate a whole lot of 6 slices. :P Some more my client didnt help as he was eating jus as much. lol.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tried to post this a couple of times but the network is bad...

Any way i will try again.

This time with some photos that i took when i was returning to this barge.

This is Purnendu, TPOT rep, and I taking a photo on DARANG SARI, a supply barge, on the way to SMIT BORNEO. Check out behind is the CPP deck. My other collegue attended the float-over, which should be quite interesting.

This is one of the Lloyds register surveyor getting on to a Billy Pugh to go to DB30, another installation barge. Check out its huge crane! If i am not wrong, its capacity is 1500T!!!

This is a nice photo of all four KST tugs when we have a meeting in this barge before the positioning of the FSO.

This is Vincent Koster, one of the SMIT engineer, together with me when the FSO arrive jus 30 meters at the stern of SMIT BORNEO.

This is the workboat the deployed to retrieve the messenger rope from the turret so that we can connect the chains up. Check out the waves man... I wouldnt want to be in that boat sia!

Day 2 @ 0030hrsSu Tu Vang OilfieldFirst day back in SMIT BORNEO, I can feel that my presence was felt the last time as I have quite a bit people welcomeing me back, even those who I hardly talk to previously. :) Some how, I have this "it's good to be home" feeling but then again, it's kinda weird coz I suppose it should be dread rather then happy. Anyway, besides the people around, the food is pretty much the same. I missed those huge pork chops and I wish they are being served soon.Flight here was smooth. Reached Ho Chi Minh around 1335 n check out straight away. Only to wait for another crew who is going to Vung Tau too. Initially the agent told me to leave first as I might missed the ferry. But it only took me 10 mind before she called the driver to turn back. The other fellow came n screwed up my ferry. Turn out instead of takin the 3pm ferry, we had to take the 5pm ferry... N eventually reach the hotel around 8pm. Next thing I know, I have to checkin at 5am...

Do check out this uncompleted photo that i uploaded.

Uploaded these photos of our NAME class outing at Ubin but didnt complete them all. Guess i will not finish it up but do appreciate this photos.

Had great fun over there. WF organise another one leh!!!

One of those LUNCH...

Item: Lunch with DH on one of those weekdays.
Locn: Bee Heong palace along Telok Ayer Street
Cost: Cant remember but really affordable. Ranging from 3-8 a dish.
Happiness factor: 7/10 (good food n good company)

Dh jioed me for lunch on day n he brought me to this restuarant.

I was initially surprised y he brought me here coz i always tot he is quite careful in selecting lunch n he seldoms visit restuarants for lunch one. Turnout this is a rather cheap place for lunch n the food is pretty nice.

They serve typical Hokkien dishes like the "He zoe (Prawn fritters)" n fried "Tang Hoon" Which was pretty well prepared. :) I even brought my collegues over the next day and we all enjoyed the food. Although one of my collegue when to take a peek at the kitchen and was disgusted. lol Well, i personnally have not seen it, so i choose not to believe it, esp when the food served was nice. Oh, they even had the "Tung Po Rou" which is simply heavenly... Ohhh.....

Dh ordered this curry which is pretty nice. Guessed he tried almost all authentic dishes so he chose this ba.

I ordered a few side dishes to go with my "Tung Hun". This is the prawn fritters. No complains. good. :)

The "Tung Hun" was moist n tasty. Well cooked too.

Got the "Prawn Paste chicken" too. Which is heavily flavoured with the prawn paste. Definately worth the money!

I jus remembered that after these two times to the restuarant, i went again with my boos too, n this time we ate the "Mee Sua" n prawns too. No complains this time as the collegue that complain was not around. lol The rest of us simply enjoyed the food. :)

Clear arcylic, maybe more cost savings as no need to get high quality paper n glossy prints like the old iPod touch 8Gb.
I was thinking there was a cover before the iPod. Turn out its a sticker over the iPod.

Here it is with a red silicon caseing. To cover the glossy silver, thumbprint prone, backing.

So far, i still have lots to learn from itunes n stuffs. Not really like windows though. But principals is pretty much same loh. I only got to realised that there is a HELL LOT stuffs u can do with ur iPod. Really so much apps, podcast, video cast that i can install into ur iPod. It really helps to pass time. Esp those 1-2hrs breaks. U really have to use it to believe it. lol

More on my iPod probably the next time i return to this hotel ba. Coz network in the barge is dead slow.....

Quickies updates.

As usual, photos in small numbers usually get to be posted faster. :)

Was at josh place the other day n he cooked this for me. As i was saying the other day when we had this at vivo, that it is pretty nice. So he was determinded to make a better one, even though he wasnt feeling well having a back ache few days back tat even affect his sleep in the night. (Many thanks Josh for making such an effort before my departure. *HUGS*)

So end up he cooked this which i really like it. But his mum dun like it coz she felt its too sweet. lol. As for me, i pretty "heavy taste" one so such strong flavour dish is my fav. NICE!

Next: Steamboat Dinner at "Xian De Lai"
Locn: Liang Seah Street
Cost: $24 each
Happiness factor: 8/10 (esp because of the company)

Well, i guess the happiness factor is a bit exaggerate ba, since i always feel the company is more important then the food we eat or things we do. So this time, i enjoyed the company esp when it have been a while since we all last met. Steamboat is pretty alright. Nothing to complain, except that they do not have the peanut sauce initially so we have to make do with the others.

Here is a photo. :) Check out the bowl over at WF's side! Its overflowed!!!! Guess those hungry P*gs there are too hungry to wait for the food to be cooked. :P Err... Bernard excluded. lol

Next: 2nd Sis sewing!!!
Locn: My house la...
Cost: Priceless :)
Happiness factor: 6/10 (its a rare sight)

Caught my sis sewing workers clothes after i return from my steamboat session. Wow, she is really some "Nui Qiang Ren" man... I am so proud of her. :) *Some how or rather she look pretty like philipino maid.* lol

Revenge of the clients.

Man, anymore of such hiccups whenever i am on a business trip will sure make me as fat as winfield... lol

For your info, i am back in Vung Tau again... Took the 1240 flight from T2 reached here around 1345 Vietnam time. (Vietnam is one hr behind Singapore) the moment i walk out of the terminal, i saw the agent. Same agent that pick me up on my first trip. But this time we got to wait for another guy who is supposed to go Vung Tau with me. 30 mins wait and he is still not out. So the agent told me to go first before i miss the ferry at 1500. So the car came n i was OTW to the ferry terminal. But after almost 10mins drive out of the aitport, the driver picked up a call n detoured to back tot he airport. I guessed the other passenger finally arrived. So we went back to pick him up. N realised he is a Ukraine. Supposed to join SEAWAYS 13 which i suppose its a tug, at Rang Dong Oilfield. Quite friendly guy n rather talkative i should say. But his "angmo" cannot make it one. So we were one chicken n one duck chatting. lol

So because we have to pick him up, we end up later for the ferry n the ferry have left. He was at a total lost. Luckily before i left, i got a name card from the agent, as i was worried that we will miss the ferry. So he came after 10mins on a bike n arranged a 1700 ferry for us. So we have to wait 2hrs at the ferry terminal, n that fellow started chatting away, after a while i was bored n took out my ipod n start playing game, n he went to sleep. Lucky :). 1 1/2hr ipoding n another 1 1/2hr on the boat, my half charged ipod finally gave way. But my time was happily occupied. :)

By the time we reach Vung Tau, it was dark, around 1900. Check into Palace Hotel again n the agent told me my Heli ride is 6am the next day n i need to check out at 5.30.... Sianz... Not much time to rest n not much time to laze around. So i was pretty sianz. Esp when i was pretty hungry. So end up i ordered quite a bit from room serivces. As u can see below. lol

Chicken escalope, which is jus chicken chop and fried rice noodles with seafood. With crab n asparagus soup for starter n ice coffee.

Heres the food when unwrapped from the cling wrap.

The fried rice noodles. Which is pretty tasteless. But it came with so much vegs that i was pretty full after eating them. The crab soup was abit "stinky".

The chicken was quite ok actually. Though its breast meat, it was pretty tender n tasty.

Total damge: 124000 dung.

Guess how much it is in sg dollars?

approx S$10/=
