I had my biggest meal on this vessel today.
Partially due to the good weather we had and that the first part of my job is finally done, and we are going to start work soon. I was in a particularly good mood too some things jus cleared my mind now. Beside all these factors, nothing beats the good dishes that were whipped out on the buffet table.

Right now, its jus about 30mins past six and the setting sun is shining right in-front of me as I sat on this fiber glass chair, enjoying the cooling breeze and slight tan. You should be able to see my position from the picture below. :P

Mmm... More about the dinner I guess. For a start, I had chicken spaghetti soup, which was a bit too salty for my liking, even though I had half a big bowl. Lol. I gave the salad a miss this time, because there were pretty much the same. Oh, I didn’t mention that there were smoked salmon and some other fish-like “smoky” thing. Nvr wanted to try them, but surprisingly, they tend to disappear whenever I came down late for meals.
For mains, there was fish (I could nvr make out what kinda fish it is. They are long and always boneless. The texture is like dory fish, same thickness too, but I am very sure it is not fresh water fish.), which is cooked in a thick cream sauce. (I suspect there are traces of cheese in it.) Some chicken nuggets, a big plate of mince meat cooked in brown sauce. (Imagine the spaghetti bolognaise but it’s brown in colour) and ultimately there was this huge slabs of rump steak. I remember they were called rump steak from the various Brazilian buffets I had. Big long chunks of meat, and they were very nicely cooked. You could sight traces of pinkness in the meat, especially when you slice them. The chef got this nice BBQ fork and knife and the meat is so tender and juicy that you dun need any effort to slice them. Finally topped with the black pepper sauce, which has a great colour but sadly, the taste doesn’t make its looks. :p If only I had my camera with me. But then again, I guessed it pretty “paiseh” to snap photos there la. Everybody is like hungry ghost queuing for the food. Lol. Lastly, there was some cauliflower in some funny seasoning that looks like curry powder, smells like curry powder. But jus taste sweet. *bleh*
I only took two slices of beef nia, after finishing them off, I was eager for more. Picked up my plate and went over for another slice. :P also took in some nuggets so that my plate is not that empty. Lol Their nugget were dry and crisp too. I guess they have used an oven to toast them instead of frying them. Even when left on the bowl, it’s still crispy and warm.
After this hearty main course, I was eyeing the desserts. The dessert’s table were there as usual with the usually suspect, ice-cream, jelly, custard, pudding, peach halves, tangerines in syrup, weird looking fruit (which I think its pears ba), below it, there were cheesessss, ( I counted at least 7 types), bread (From gardenia to French loaf to whole meal bread), I huge tray of fresh fruits, usually there are oranges, kiwis, the yellow pear and the green pear. The chef also cut some oranges and grapefruit into halves which looks fantastic on the table. Only thing special on the table today is the huge cream cake at the corner, I think it’s easily 18” wide. Like a huge pizza size. Lol it has white frostings and some chocolate swirl on top.
Well, after seeing all this dessert for three days and not touching them (YES! I have not tried the dessert yet!). I guessed it must been the good mood la. So I picked up not one, but two slices of cake. Along with some choco pudding and one peach half. *Burp*The cake is layered with light lemon mousse, so light that I actually love it. Ahhhh~ Finally, all these would be best if it ends with a cup of nice coffee. But I was thinking about all the sins that I did over the last 20mins, I guessed only a bottle of mineral water would justify my atonement. (Even though I dun think it helps much. :P)
With the sun partially covered by the clouds, I could sense that the day is coming to another end. As I stood here with my laptop and MINERAL Water bottle, enjoying the cooling breeze that start to turn chilling, I look forward to the completion of the work here. Not giving a miss on the upcoming “heavy” meals that I will have again er… tonight?!? (Supper) wahhahaha
That sums up my greatest meal on board YET!
