Well, i am out offshore this time again.
Not the best of time as i have already planned for a trip to BKK with friends. Although there are still some time to the trip, i duobt that i can make it... T_T
Well, hopefully the company can compansate me some sort or another la. Cash is good, if not a trip to japan or sydney also can la. wahahaha. :P
Back to the vessel. This time round i tried to hope onto the DSV instead. Coz my collegue was having lotsa problem with the FSO as they do not have internet facilities. So after settling down on the FSO, i quickly approach the OIC to tell him my plans. Turn out, lotsa people is expecting me across the DSV. In the end there will be transfer at 3pm.
Oh, side track a bit. The stupid ferry boat from shoal too us 14hrs!?! luckily i managed to find a three seater to lie down and sleep. I must say huh, the clients hor, very slow one leh. Make us reach there at 3pm, some even earlier, then wait until 7 then send us out... @#%^&*
So while i was in the FSO, i managed to get hold of the OIC, Capt Wong. He is a funny guy man. A bit rugged and funny and "gong gong" at times. He was breifing me about the situation when some guy came and ask for him. then he took me to he room and show me some documents, while he go and attend to the other fellow. Came back, we had a long chat, from the job to hometown to his family to the people around. lol. He named one of the installation manager Harry (Porter) coz his name is Harry. Didnt notice any scar when i see him. lol. We were chatting so heartly that we missed lunch! OMG, my last meal was actually 9pm the previous night, surprisingly at 1.30pm i am not hungry. :P We went to the galley and it was closed already. Luckily with his "power" he got the chef to bring out the food again. There were chicken rendang and vege and potato. Not that fantastic, but editable loh.
So i was transfered the DSV in a while. Straight away i start reading some of the documents around. Coz actually this time round, i am suppose to approve the documents so that the ultimate client, Talisman, can allow them to proceed. Initially they send us a few doc but all without details and not properly endorsed. So i was reading loh, then the author came leh. Straight away ask me if there were any comments. lol. I stress la. Luckily i managed to shooed him away for the time being. That also explains y i am only writing this so late as i jus finish reviewing the two stack of doc sia... phew...
Oh, i missed dinner. Wahaha. This vessel had a funny rule la. No body is suppose to be in coveralls when in the galley. So have to change loh. Instead i went to the bunk and shower la. nice nice go galley and was greeted with food, foods, FOOD!?! Just to name a few, very few la, there was Risotto with chicken and bamboo shoots, grilled fish with herbs and tomato, panfried chicken, stew beef with mushroom, salad, coleslaw, potato salad, crabstick salad, dun know wat saladS.... There were also desserts, ice-cream, cheesesesesss, fruits like grape fruit, oranges, kiwis, pears, apples, grapes!!! Er.. think i end up writing most of the food la. lol. Oh, there were two fridges of soft drinks and fruit juices and milk. FREE FLOW Drinks!!! I dun think i need to tell u wat i ate la. :P would be quite scarry la.
So that kinda round up my day today. Didnt have a chance to shoot the food coz alot of people la. Paiseh sia. lol Oh, meal times only 1hr. so tends to have a lot of people in and out. Oh, did i say there were 5 meals a day? Breakfast, Morning tea, Lunch, Afternoon tea, Dinner and supper. I missed supper today la. Coz i wanna finish my review. But i am so not going to miss my breakfast tml. I wonder if there are sauguages. :)
GTG, Sleep. Ciao!

haha.. wat a high'sea' life you are 'enjoying'! me sure cant tahan cso i extreme motion sickness.
Actually, i jus realise there are a type of "BAND" you wear around your wrist to reduce motion sickness. One of the engineers have it and so far he has survived the worst sea state here yet!
